Tried using the online check in and return. It was slower and more cumbersome than just dealing with the employees. As a matter of fact, when we returned the truck, the employee came out and would’ve had the return processed very quickly but had to wait on us to complete the process online which took about 10 minutes longer.

I believe this is the truck that we were supposed to be able to return to 115 W Rickey Rd, Monticello, so again, why do we make a reservation/plan and then nothing goes as planned?

A better system of checking in equipment. I dropped off my equipment 5 days before the deadline and was told on the final day that I hadn't turned it in. It ended up being that the employee who received the equipment left it sitting in a corner and never checked it in because they were busy or wanted to go home. It wasnt until I called and asked why my order wasnt closed before they realized that the "extra" trailer was still waiting to be processed. It ended up causing extra stress after moving 2000+ miles and starting a new job.

Monitor your check-in lane. Your signage asks that customers pull in and wait with their vehicle, so I did. After 5 minutes of standing there I walked around to the front of the building to see two employees chatting in the entrance to a work room. Once they saw me the check-in was quick and efficiently done. If your signs tell me what to do, and I do as directed, I shouldn't have to wait (or go looking) for help. Don't penalize customers for following instructions, reward them with faster service! Thanks??

I tried checking in via my phone and it took way too long. I ended up going inside and the staff inside took care of me in minutes. Also, the truck was dirty and smelled of manure. It was like someone had been in mud and tracked it inside the truck and was all over the ground of the truck. I had to sweep it out when I got home so it wouldn't get on my stuff. I took pics of it if you need them. The location is the best in Terre Haute or else I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

They said I purchased these furniture pads, so of course I kept them after and then after I returned the truck I was later called and told they were just rented and I got charged $200+ for some stupid damn blankets

Very congested return area. Not a lot of room when returning a 26' truck and a tow dolly. We returned our equipment and rented a 10 x 20 x 8 storage unit. If I were not in the position of having to return the truck and tow dolly I would never have rented this storage unit. The entire front of the unit was covered in debris and broken glass. When the unit was opened for us, it too was covered in debris and we had to wait while the attendant swept out the unit. Again, if not for returning the equipment and having no choice but to unload the truck there and the 1 month free rental I would never have rented this storage unit.

First truck was dirty and blocked in by other trucks. That delayed us. Also had a few issues with using the phone to pick it up. Called the phone number and was on hold for 5-10 minutes. Found out that location was open on a Sunday. Person at pickup location was helpful. Gave me a different truck right away. Truck I got drove well and I felt safe in it. Truck return was smoother although there was a glitch with using the phone to return it which made me have to start the process all over. Also reserved movers through uhaul reservation. No problems there. Reserved a storage unit as well. Said I qualified for a free month but the storage person said that’s wrong and they are not uhaul storage facility and have been trying to get that changed. Uhaul also said the rate was less than what storage facility is actually currently charging. The guy was nice abc gave it to me for the monthly rate I reserved through uhaul but still not first month free. Overall I’m satisfied with the purchase.

We were charged for days we didn’t have the unit just because staff at location forgot to check in the unit when originally dropped off. Very frustrating! We returned the unit on 12/23/19

First of all when I called the first time for a quote on prices, it was automatic you need this, now I need a credit card, very pushy, not helpful. Rude. When I did finally get what I needed, I got the smaller 10' truck, just like I said I wanted with the first representative, but she tried to push me for a bigger truck. The signs in Uhaul, show you on an average what you need, and that's exactly what I needed! The second time I called back, the representative was nice, calm, and helpful. The only thing was, I was quoted on a 2 way pricing, because representative, said the computer wasnt showing any drop off site at my designation, even know I knew there was, and she said someone would call me in 24 to 48 hours for confirmation and eligibility on a 10' truck. I reserved this quote and designation on my credit card. The next day got a confirmation for the truck, and time, and designation I needed, one way drop off, so there was a site in my town I was moving. So next day, got another email, saying time changed, because it was some odd time for pick up, and that was a mistake. So that changed. Then when I got to my final place, to turn the truck back in, the people was kinda rude. I asked questions when I picked up the truck about clean up, the gentleman only stated no trash left behind. Then drop off site, was did you sweep the truck out? Well, she continue, how they would have to inspect it to see how dirty it was and get back to me, but they were busy at that time eating lunch. Hey, they knew they had a schedule drop off, if not, dont be a drop off site. Dont make me feel like I'm interrupting you! The final problem, the original quote for a 2 way at approximate 80 miles total trip I paid that price at, but got a one way offer, but still paid that price, then had to pay on top of that 6 more dollars because I was told I went over 30 miles, when I was quoted at least 40 miles one way, 80 total trip if not a drop off site, and had to return it. So I paid even more! Never again!!

Truck was not in good condition and i call customer service and lady heard sound when you use break and she told me to go back to location to change truck or she can send roadside assistance and I chose to go back to location. I ask guy and explain but he refuses to change truck.
