This area is not that ghetto, try going to downtown Buffalo or Rochester and you will be greeted with some unsavory conditions. Customers really need a reality check if they think this is in a "bad" area. Nina the gas attendant was very quick to get me on the phone with a Uhaul rep that helped me get my truck on the road in all of 5 minutes. Check-in online before you arrive and the Uhaul rep will have everything ready to go for you.

This is a gas station that is in a really bad area. As we were dropping off the Uhaul there was a drug deal going on right next to me (within 3 feet in the parking lot). Additionally, the staff was rude and when we called them about dropping off our equipment the guy who works at the gas station said “Call me back in 2 hours, I’m busy.” Seriously, worst customer service ever and a really bad area. I’ve been renting from Uhaul since 2012 and this was by far the worst place we’ve ever been.

Quick and to the point. Excellent customer service.

When I went for the pick up, the owner of the c store had to call U-Haul. When I was given the estimate over the phone, it was $100 higher than given to me over the phone the day before. I had to play word games to get the break down. "It's the flat rate for a 1 way move that covers 3 days and 390 miles'. I did not need it for 3 days but felt that I had no choice.

It's not as user friendly or easy to rent a uhail when you don't have the representative in person. We booked ours online and then had to do a bunch of things via phone or email.

First off I’d like to say other than the information flow, the rental went flawless. That being said, I’d like it to be known that I feel ripped off. Online the rental is advertised as $55 give or take yet I was charged $120.01. When I called customer service earlier today (10/25/18) I was told o was charged an additional $50 charge because I dropped it off at a store MAYBE 10 miles away. When I went to the location I reserved it to purchase a ball hitch, I asked if that was okay, they said yes. When I went to the location to pick it up (a gulf gas station on Delaware st) the man I met there said it was okay. When I dropped it off on orchard park rd in West Seneca I was told I was good to go. Not once was I made aware of an additional $50 charge for dropping it off at a different store. If that was the case and I didn’t ask anyone about it, I wouldn’t be as mad as I am but because I asked 3 separate u-haul employees and they all told me it would be okay with out informing me of that additional charge I’m fuming.

Empty ash tray full of cigarette butts

terrible experience - cigarettes butts in the cab. sent me an email saying they didnt get the truck back when they did

A little bit redundant having to give your information over again to some guy on the phone that never shows up at the pick up location. No one there to even go over the hook up of the trailer or check that it was hooked up correctly. I rented a 6 x12 enclosed trailer which I had to hook up myself and if anyone has rented one of these they know the tongue weight is very heavy and should be a two person job lifting it from the ground because they do not have a trailer jack on them. Nothing against convenient stores but they are no place for an equipment rental facility.

There was papers and gravel all over the back, and caked on mud in the front. The cab of the truck smells like something died in there.

Poor management! Unreliable!

Don't rent a storage facility from 1728 main street buffalo ny

Responsible person was not on site. After booking online, had to provide additional personal details over the phone to the rental agent, who refused to come to the convenience store site. A customer of the convenience store helped me hook up the trailer. No one checked to see what trailer I even took. I would never use or recommend anyone to go to this location. Absolutely terrible experience! Poor reflection on uHaul company.

The location was fine but they charged me for insurance which I did not agree to! Hoping they credit my card. should have let me view the contract instead of just emailing it.

Well it would not be my first choice to go to pickup the again other that it was close by. I had to be put on a workers cell phone to handle all the paperwork billing etc. I felt I had done this all when I reserved the trailer in the first. I was also transferred to a second person on the phone because first did not get billing correct +++. Plus the initial call was first to find out if a trailer was even available for my dates. But you get hit with all the get my information first. So doing this then told have trailer then whoops no don't and let them check with other locations in my opinion was waste of time. AS for price sad that it cost more to rent a trailer then it did to get one of the small box trucks. Oh well J

Attendant originally said the truck was not available, causing some confusion (it was his first day)

It is a bit unsettling to do this all electronically.
