The cab of the truck smelled of stale cigarette smoke. It was almost overwhelming. The transmission had issues. It would rev high before shifting and it would jump in reverse.

I am beyond mad. I called to ask how to go about getting my deposit back since we dropped off after hours. I was told to come in person. Several days later when I finally had the chance to drive to the location, I find out that my entire reservation had been switched to the name of my brother in law, who had to pick up the trailer for me. I was then told they tried calling HIM several times about returning the deposit, then proceed to mail the deposit via check to the address on file, which is my old address where I no longer live. It won't get forwarded to my new address because it has his name on it. And, even if I did get the check, it will be in his name, which I will not be able to deposit. I am angry. Somebody fix this please, and explain to me why my name and phone number in which the reservation was made, did not stay on file. To make matters worse, the employee who was telling me this ignored me when I kept asking more questions, and proceeded to talk to another person, and offered no help or solution on how I might actually be able to get my money back. Frustrated is an understatement. The employee was not helpful and acted like there was nothing wrong with the situation at hand.

Horrible experience. Poor management helpfulness. - less than 24 hour notice if change in pickup and equipment - no adj to rate for lesser equip. - not enough miles added for change in pick up location - manager at shop needs coached he did horrible job at talking thru the problem and overcoming barriers to find a solution, supposed ‘clerk’ we talked to after manager said he shouldn’t have talked to us that way and gave better help on the problems outlined above.

The app on returning a trailer after hours did not work we had to call customer service we initially had to return back to the U-Haul store to get our refund because it charged us extra $25 for checking in after hours but they fixed it gave us a refund because the app was not functioning properly..please update your app so customers can check in after hours without getting charged
