I had a storage unit at this U-Haul location for three years with no complaints. However, my move-out experience was beyond poor: the management was rude in person, then unresponsive, and next to impossible to reach by phone when needed. Despite moving out and speaking to an employee in person, they would not mark my account as inactive. I understand things take time, but after six days I truly believe that had I not called numerous times, my account would still be active and they would still be trying to charge me. I cannot stress this enough—this local office will not answer their phone. Or respond to email. Or even reply to customer service representatives reaching out on the customer's behalf from the main U-Haul customer service line. It took me calling a ridiculous number of times back-to-back before management rudely answered the phone and agreed to call me back. I am not one to leave reviews. I understand people have bad days. This experience was not that. This location is incredibly poorly managed and shows no care for its customers. I would not recommend this location.

I was 3 days late because I thought I had set up auto pay and when I saw it had not come out of my account I log in to pay and WOW …. I moved out of the unit in the middle of the month, didn’t see any refunds or pro rated rental fees credited to my account. I was not happy and may consider other options in the future.

MERLIN A | First ImpressionsBlack employee stated that I am required to buy a circular lock with U-Haul logo from this location. Which I called customer service and the young lady on U-Haul recording would enforce the “Policy” under U-Haul regulations. This statement was false and misleading. The employee and myself was being videotaped in the U-Haul building while she instead that I’m being forced to buy the lock and refusing “My” U-Haul lock purchased by a U-Haul dealer elsewhere. When setting at her terminal location she answered a phone call from a white man that I overheard, she was polite and respectful but with myself disrespectful as a registered republican. So I was asking about insurance in the free storage unit she snapped back at me with disrespectful comments while her colleague was next to her within hearing distance. I knew then I was in trouble with her so when asking for information about the unit she refused at first then showed me the key pad. Right then with her hostility I walked out the building to her to calm down, everything is on video for your management team to review. I walked back into the building saying “ Hi my name is ” can you help me since I’m 62years old and disabled per my ADA rights of disability. Either way I tried to calm her down however when I walked back she knew that everything was on video. Hum something isn’t right with situation, of course black people cant reverse discrimination, oh no they can’t right or wrong. Unfortunately I didn’t ask for this type of treatment and didn’t want this in my life or need this. I addressed her as mama since I certainly didn’t want to offend her or cause a scene but she certainly didn’t, why her colleagues would back her up. Ask yourself why did this happen? This all took place about the lock and it got worse, 62 years old and with tremendous amount of pride of knowing a black federal judge from high school it brought great emotional pride he did amazing things to better his life by example. Cancel culture, woke culture has destroyed the American ways of life. Unfortunately we as Americans still run into this entitlement culture but with respect to other we are forced to deal with this mindset. Even your customer service young lady refused to address anything, shameful! So I called the Ozark U-Haul and they informed me it’s the marketing director decision per location or region, like WTH are you kidding me, over a 12.00 lock, wow incredible.
