Mohammad AMy truck was changed from a 15ft to a 10ft and the dolly and blankets that I had ordered well in advance were not available when I got there. It also took 30mins to get the truck keys.
Ciaran Ook elsewhere. If you have no choice but to rent a car from this location, U haul at 436 Dawes Rd, take timestamped photos when picking up and dropping off. I arrived at 5:30 to rent the truck, but the receipt shows an incorrect time of 4:00, and my scheduled 5:00 return was pushed to 6:00, resulting in a two-day rental charge. This increased my bill from $50 to $110 for just 12 km of driving. He will take your information from his phone, and the paperwork will be sent to your email, so you won't see the contract until later. You see the pickup time as 4:00 but assume it must be carried over from a previous contract or something and can correct it when I return the truck. When I get there to return the truck, the guy isn’t there, just another person who works in the convenience store part; the whole thing is a convenience store having U-haul truck rentals aside. In the end, the contract/receipt isn’t in my hands. I was told it will be emailed to me. Two days later I saw my copy of the contract/receipt. Pissed, I called the guy. He said it was a mistake, however, it’s already submitted to U-Haul headquarters, and I have to call U-Haul headquarters centre to correct/adjust it and get a refund of the incorrect amount. Which I did. The person from headquarters centre said they will investigate the issue.And I am still waiting for the answer. Again, I highly NOT recommend this location
