Employees were no where to be found. Had to ring customer assistance buzzer, search the store, wander around, then call on my mobile from the lobby. Terrible. Employee who eventually showed up was clueless and lifeless. Sent me to the wrong aisle. On trip 2 to the truck, sent me to the wrong one. LAZY!!!!

The csr was very quick and helpful. He came outside to the lot to help me find the truck as this location has more trucks than any truck rental place I have ever used. The truck was the cleanest, newest re tal truck I had ever had. The only downside was that the deodorizing spray they used in the truck was quite strong. Oh, yes and the brakes worked well!!!

I would rate this U-Haul in a couple of ways. The building not very inviting and the loss of parking for the customers due to construction near the entrance. Not sure why all the parking had to be closed off? Once I arrived to pick up my equipment, that location didn't even have the truck and trailer ready to go for my long 2,200 mile journey and it had not been filled with the required amount of fuel. Not only did I have to wait, I think they gave me a smaller truck then what I requested and wanted to give me a trailer that was rusted with bald tires. After fighting with the employees about the trailer they finally decided to give me a trailer with newer tires. There should have been no question as to what equipment I should have been using for this long journey. As for the truck not being the correct length, I did not make a big deal because I was scheduled to leave in a day and I felt that it would become more of a hassle especially since nothing had been set up for me to pick up when I arrived that morning. At about 1,500 miles into my journey I noticed the oil pressure indicator was on and the oil pressure gauge was oscillating between high pressure and low pressure. I stopped immediately to investigate the oil level on the dipstick. It appeared to be very low to the point where there was no oil reading at all. I called the roadside assistance line and the only thing they could tell me was to go to an auto parts store and buy oil and put it in. I know this is very unprofessional because I don't think they understood the severity of what was going on. After adding nearly five and a half quarts to the engine it was apparent that no service was performed for this vehicle before I received it and with this being a brand new truck with only a 100 miles it's going to be a big cost to U-Haul because someone did not do there job. It is now going to take a lot of money to keep this truck in service now that it's going to be having engine issues. Amongst all of that the truck's alignment seemed to be off. It was not tracking very well and had a very tight steering wheel. I hope this information will help U-Haul moving in the future. I will also be writing a letter/rewiew to the vice president of U-Haul explaining the problems and safety issues that transpired through my experience.

They gave me the vehicle that they had promised and they were very courteous and allowed me to extend my use of the van for an additional week and drop off & sign out was very hassle free. One thing I wish they had was the ability to drop you off after you drop off the Vehicle if you were with in a reasonable amount of distance from their shop.

Please, please, please have separate lines for those that have checked in online versus those that have not. There is no point to checking in online, if you have to wait in line behind everyone.

I used the self-check out option to avoid a line, and it worked ok, except that I had to go into the store and wait in line to get the key. Check-in was very slow. A long line had formed backed out onto a busy road. Need to move the returns through faster.
