Everything on site seemed fine until we arrived home to sweep out the truck to find (after slipping and almost falling) that the truck floor was covered in vegetable oil (not a little bit - dipping with), broken glass, screws, nails and kids hair bows. This took almost an hour to clean up, taking valuable packing time. Once we started packing, we noticed you could see outside from the inside, front passenger corner. There was an actual hole in the roof. I got apologizes when I called customer service but nothing further which was disappointing.

Renting from U-HAUL was the BIGGEST NIGHTMARE … EVER !!!! I really don’t even know where to begin. It started when I made reservations for Charlottesville location and everything went just fine and then just hrs before we were to pick up our truck. I received an email (?not a phone call but an email ) from U-Haul saying that the location that I was going to pick up at did not have a 26 foot truck (which I had reserved ) but that they only had 20 foot trucks, but there was a location out of town (in the opposite direction )& that my driver could go and pick up before midnight. This conversation took place at 10 PM and for almost an hour and 45 minutes until about 11:45 midnight I was on the phone arguing constantly with a sales representative Supervisor, who was listening to my conversation who constantly interrupted me ;,reprimanded me ; told me I didn’t know what I was speaking about; kept telling me that I could keep the truck for one day, (which was never my intent.& was absurd !) I already had a reservation for 26 foot truck for two days and the pick up and the drop off were at the same location. She kept wanting to twist around and let me only have it for one day and pick it up from another destination from out of town in the opposite direction and for more money ?!?!!, this was the most abhorrent ,ridiculously unprofessional supervisor I have ever spoken with in my entire business career as a business owner… This woman has no business being customer service or being.a customer serving supervisor (?what a joke ?) She said she’s not customer service being over another phone employee who is taking reservations? The fact that I made a reservation at U-Haul:, they reneged on their offer mere hours before I had five movers to help me !!!this was a logistical nightmare and I am sure it’s not over with yet😡😡👺👺💯💯💯. I am awaiting someone from U-Haul corporate to reach out to me. It hasn’t happened yet. What a surprise?… DONT .. JUST CALL SOMEONE ELSE ‼️‼️💯💯👺😡👺😡
tanya bThe uhaul I was provided was used to haul lawn equipment and there were puddles of oil and there was gasoline residue all over the back of the vehicle. The uhaul location also has charged me $70 more than what was initially charged and I have been provided with no explanation as to why I’m being charged more.
