when i was checking out at pick up, i had to wait for my partner to bring me more cash for the cash deposit, so i stepped aside , checked out when the cash arrived, when checking the milage and gas level against the contract it was fine, buti didnt notice until later that he had charged me for the safe move that i had opted out on when he ran the contract through when i first arrived. I called immediately and got someone that was at another location and took a message for gilberto miranda, the gentleman that answered said he would return my call. I never recieved that call, time of return i told daniel my problem when he asked if the equipment was ok and so on...he proceeded to check me out , but did nothing about the overcharge of $14.00. i know it doesn't sound like a lot, but I rent from uhaul for all the great services that i have become used to , as i move people less fortunate as part of my congregation at church, and i can use all the help i can I'm not sure if i handled correctly?? thank you for continued great service ...James Knight .

My reservation was to include two furniture dollies, but this location did not have any. The owner at this location located them for me at another store hat was on my route, and told them how to transfer them to me. I was very happy with the way he helped me work around this botched reservation.

The gentleman who did my reservation and pick up had it so messed up in the system it took me over an hour to pick up my truck and trailer. Then he messed up the truck rental. He put it in the system as a pick up in Phoenix and drop off in Tucson when I was doing the opposite. Plus he only allowed 30 miles when these two cities are nearly 200 miles apart. When I dropped off the truck the guy at first tried to charge me for the added miles until he read the contract. He was as confused as I was.

Gilberto Miranda (the Manager) greeted us when we arrived and was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the van, and was sure to give us a number should we have any mechanical problems. We didn't. The shop was very clean, likewise the van. He had me get in and check the information on the Contract against the van dashboard and made sure I was comfortable with the van. It was fun to drive .. has pep. Only difficulty we had was with unusual rain, heavy at that, all day .. most unusual for Tucson. We would definitely recommend this U-Haul shop and Gilberto Miranda. One more note: I ordered the van at 7pm the evening before. I called the 520/575-5364 and a woman answered at the UHaul call center. Her name was Liz and I was her 3rd caller. She was pleasant, careful and did a great job. No hassle, no attitude..just nice. I was sent my contract and 5 minutes later I called the number again, this time speaking with Neal. I requested an earlier pickup.. he said no problem, made the change on the document and sent me a revised Contract. Again, very friendly and efficient. My husband and I will go to the UHaul at Grant Road (828050) when we require a larger vehicle or trailer and will definitely refer anyone who brings up renting a truck, van or moving 'big' stuff.

When I was dropping off my appliance dolly, I realized that the location I was scheduled to drop off at was closed on Sundays! I frantically looked up other locations and all were closed on Sundays. I called Uhaul and was able to work with the fantastic customer service to leave the appliance dolly in a secure location and ensure it was returned on time. In the future, I would recommend letting customers know who are due to return units on a Sunday if the location will be closed what to do.

We were scheduled to pick up at a completely different location, using our phone to get the uhaul. When it didn't work, we called the number, and he told us we needed to pick up at this location, which made us late for our move. The uhaul specialist at the Grant location didn't care as how much it was an inconvience to us. We paid, and moved on with our move. As the move was out of Tucson (Sierra Vista), the vehicle was having major issues on the road, such as stuttering and slowing down tremendously, we called a U-Haul location in Sierra Vista because we were worried about making it back to Tucson in the Uhaul. He said there was nothing he could do. As we drove back we had the same issues but did make it safely to the U-Haul in Tucson. We dropped off with no issues at all. A few days later, we got an email stating we owe over $100. We called to inquire on what this was about, we went exactly one mile over what we said we would. No one ever told us it would be over $100 if we went over in mileage. This is ridiculous, and we will not be paying this. We have family that uses Uhaul often due to work, I will make sure to tell them not to use this company. This whole experience was extremely inconvenient, and shitty to say the least.

Send the rude kid who checked me in to charm school. The door latch did not line up with the slot. It took an hour to be checked out. No other customers were there that early. Please call me about the self check in process on the app.

Train staff to be polite and not sarcastic when dealing with customers and not acuse customers of lying. Also, fix the drop box in the drop off area or clearly mark the one in front as a drop box. I will not use this location again due to the sarcasm and rude behavior of your staff.

I reserved a 26' truck about a month in advance at the Speedway Ave location in Tucson. I got to look at the truck and everything. When moving day arrived and I arrived to pick-up the truck, but the Speedway location that I reserved the truck at, didn't have one. They sent me to the Grant Rd. store because they had a 26' truck available. Kind of an older, worn out truck, definately not the quality I had seen before. The old bait and switch. The truck made the trip OK but I was worried the whole trip.

The two gentlemen at the uhaul location on grant and alvernon are very rude , just got my reciept emailed to me will deff consider paying a family of friend next time it will be cheaper and i wont have to worry about rude customer service. Other then that the vehicles run great ?
