Great overall customer service!
The online checkout process is terrible. Worst, most confusing process I've ever used. Was no clear indication that i needed other contacts to verify me, or that i needed a stupid lease agreement to verify me. Your website only works on chrome. Waited outside for 30 minutes in 100+ degrees with no shade while some representative tried to call my contacts without me knowing. The only reason i was able to get the truck was because of the guy at the office. If it was after hours I would've been screwed. Fix the online process.

The truck had side view mirrors that can't be adjusted from inside the truck. I feel like this was a safety issue that needs to be corrected.
Not make customers stand outside in the heat for pick up. You can socially distance in the AC inside with a mask on. Sweated my butt off.

The guy that excepted my return was great. The lady that took my initial reservation was insistent that even though she did not have the size truck I needed that the service office would work to find a location for me and notify me with a pickup location. I never received a txt or call with a location that had what I needed but instead I received 3 calls from the office that took the reservation trying to get me to take a larger truck. It wasn't until I called the service office myself that I was able to find a location with a 15' truck but it was over 50 miles away. They added miles to my reservation but that doesn't make up for the additional time and gas wasted for having to go so far just to pick up the truck.
Nothing to improve. It went quite well.
The attendant, Patrick, was very helpful and courteous. Apleasure to do business with. Especially in these hard times.
ripped me off in gas charges. very poor service. They acted like I had bubonic plague or I was a leper.

issues with app. didn't upload picture during checking out the vehicle and crashed during returning the vehicle. anything else was fine and straight-forward
Overall good experience. A couple of issues that were beyond the location's responsibility and goes back to UHaul in general: At both times, checkout the vehicle and returning the vehicle, the UHaul app did not work as expected and caused extra effort / loss of time. 1. During checkout I tried to take a picture from a non-marked damage on the driver side of the truck. The app did not recognize the "Take Photo" button. 2. During return, the app "chocked" on the Continue command, after I had taken the photo of the location. It reported "Issues with requested page and offered "Cancel" or "Retry". Hitting Retry it started from scratch and went to exactly the same scenario again, where it showed the same problem. I ended up calling one of the employees you finished the return process manually. This is not good in current Corona situation, where automated processes are even more important to exercise Social Distancing. UHaul: Please fix this immediately.

We specifically rented a truck based on reserving labor services through UHaul. We spoke to and confirmed with the manager of Wildcat Moving and he confirmed on the phone 2 movers for 5 hours. Wildcat Moving told us they would arrive at 11am. We picked up the truck and waited. They never showed up. They did not even call at any time either. Now we are out $125+ dollars because we cannot move the furniture without the help and it was too late to get a new crew. We took the truck back. The local agent told us there was nothing they could do as far as even refunding us the money for the dolly or the blankets or anything. This is the biggest ripoff we have ever seen. The UHaul location did not care at all and for that they did not even attempt to help make it right for UHaul overall, I cannot rate higher. I will never reccomend labor services through this arrangement as this is obviously not working and you do not have the customer in mind. We spent a lot of money and there is not even a little bit of care to try to refund that back. Every time the movers did this they should be penalized and not allowed to sell their sevices on the app for a period of one month as penalty. This will be stiff enough to keep them honest and operating properly. He had our phone numbers through the paperwork and by our previous phone calls so there is no excuse to not even call and apologize. Terrible business practices.
