We had to call U-Haul once we got to Tucson. The person we spoke with informed us that the drop off location closes at 4:00 PM. It was already 4:00 pm when we called them. They told us to drop the trailer off at a business across town from where we were. When we got there at 6:00 pm we had to drop the trailer off along the road because there was no other place to drop it. I was very uncomfortable about doing that, but there was no other option. Other than me having trouble with my phone camera to take a picture of my drivers license, everything went very smooth, the equipment was brought up quickly and ready to go.
RODOLFO ROne of the side lights was out but it’s the one you don’t notice till driving at night. Not their fault but they should have checked them all. They had me do my blinkers and brakes but didn’t check the always on lights I guess. Wasn’t terrible but it would have helped because I drove cross country.
Dallas RThe truck was a mess, looked as though it had never been washed before. The truck was so far out of alignment that we had to fight the steering wheel the entire 1000+ miles that we had the truck. The front left tire was completely bald on the outside half of the tread. This was an awful experience and a very bad representation of U-Haul over all.
TONY GRandomly received 30$ charge. Tank was returned at the level it was received, and there was insurance for the minor damage that had a 0$ deductible. Should not have been charged.
