What a fiasco. I returned a truck on Thursday, day 5 of a 5-day rental. Mac's appears to be primarily a truck repair shop that's also a U-Haul outlet. Very little parking and had to squeeze a 26' truck in between road construction debris and customer repair jobs. Went to the office to return keys and close out the rental and was helped by a nice enough guy who said he'd email the receipt. Never received an emailed receipt and started getting phone calls from U-Haul Saturday asking when the truck would be returned - apparently it was never checked back in and closed out by Mac's. Finally got an emailed receipt on Monday morning noting the truck was returned Friday, not Thursday, and charging me for an extra day of rental. Would not recommend.

Cardboard was left in the truck. The trucks back door was stuck and said I couldn't return it to this location. Front counter person seemed very confused when I was asking questions about the U-Haul.
kristy aWe had to call U-Haul once we got to Tucson. The person we spoke with informed us that the drop off location closes at 4:00 PM. It was already 4:00 pm when we called them. They told us to drop the trailer off at a business across town from where we were. When we got there at 6:00 pm we had to drop the trailer off along the road because there was no other place to drop it. I was very uncomfortable about doing that, but there was no other option. Thank you.
Edna MOther than me having trouble with my phone camera to take a picture of my drivers license, everything went very smooth, the equipment was brought up quickly and ready to go.
RODOLFO ROne of the side lights was out but it’s the one you don’t notice till driving at night. Not their fault but they should have checked them all. They had me do my blinkers and brakes but didn’t check the always on lights I guess. Wasn’t terrible but it would have helped because I drove cross country.
