Auto Transport had a flat tire. The guy's replaced the tire in about 15 min and I was on my way. After driving the truck I rented for about 15 min the brake and ABS lights started flashing and the abs light stayed on the entire trip but no physical problems with the truck.

If you tell the customer the truck has a full tank, make sure it does. Have some character, and fill your trucks up. If I reserve a truck that has 150 free miles, I don't expect to walk in to the location and hear "We lost your reservation, you'll have to pay .79 for every mile" when I explained the reservation I had and the free mileage, he said "call customer service and tell them, I'm not giving you that deal" Sincerely, Another customer lost

Very friendly and outgoing associate working there. He was able to quickly and efficiently assist multiple customers at the same time. Did appear he could use a helper though as he was busy at pick-up and drop-off. He took a tremendous amount of pride in his job and most employers would love to snag him up. The downtown location is clean and kept in good repair. Your 61/Peoria location needs to be closed and moved a mile in any direction. Nothing but hood rats in that area. I drove an extra 9 miles to avoid using it. Wonder how many customers Uhaul is turning away each day who drive a Ford Explorer? Talk about living in the past Uhaul - let it go already. You dwell worse than this girl I dated in high school, she was real nutty and probably still is. Do you also wipe the equipment down with bleach after each rental so nobody catches AIDS? Does your $39 van have a cassette tape player? I mean, I'm shocked that Uhaul has a website and are still Ford Explorer buttsore.

First the truck I reserved was unavailable because one of the incompetent employees lost the keys, then they had no idea how to hook up the car hauling trailer, and it eventually took three of them and more than an hour to do so. Not to mention they were "out of dolly's", which sounds pretty implausible since they area Uhaul location.

I arrived from irving, tx to pick up my truck after 4.0 hrs of traveling. While signing the paperwork I asked the young man if I go over the 310 miles alloted to me how much are the additional miles. He said he did not know that I would have to call the drop off location to find out. I said well I need to know so I can make sure I have enough funds. He stated to call the customer service number or the drop off location because they are usually generous with giving additional miles. I also noticed the gas tank was on empty according to the contract and there was a credit of 47.00 due to that. I asked if they can take the credit off and put gas in the truck, he stated he would have to wait on his manager to arrive and the manager was on his way. After I signed the paperwork the young man went to drive the uhaul around and said the truck was not ready because he had to put fluids in the uhaul. Now I am irritated because we not only have to stop for gas and pray we dont run out of gas, which would delay our move even longer but now he has to prepare the truck. I asked since the truck is not ready if they can put gas in the uhaul and I will be back. The young man said he did not know but he will ask his manager. I left, which was about 10:30 am and the young man called about 11:30am which was after I called customer service to see if the truck was ready. The agent said she would have the location call me because she showed the uhaul as dispatched. The manager was not professional enough to call he had the young attendant call to say the truck was ready but he will not be able to put gas in the truck. I said what if I run out of gas then what? He said hold on let me talk to my manager. He came back and said my manager said he gave you a 50% credit (Keep in mind it was a 47.00 credit) and if he fill it up he will have to charge you the 50% credit you received. I said thats fine, tell him to fill it up and I am on my way. We arrived for the 2nd time and I get to the counter and the young attendant said I needed to sign my paperwork over but I noticed it showed 319.00 charge instead of the 47.00. I said so why are you charging me 319.00 instead of 47.00 because you have already charged me 272.00? He said because we cancelled that other contract out. I said but it didnt cancel the 272.00 you have a hold on with my bank. He said you have to contact your bank about the hold. I said no I will not, you need to charge me the 47.00 only. He says hold on and went to get the manager. The manager comes out and says the same thing as the attendant and also went on to say thats why I told him to tell you this would be complicated if we had to fill the truck up and take off the credit. NOW I AM PISSED, so I said he didnt tell me that and you are trying to charge me almost 600.00 for a 292.00 rental so you better fix it because now we are no longer just late with our move but you are trying to overcharge me. Had van set up for appointed day, called day before to say we had to pick up at another location. It was more difficult to get too, but the young man who helped us was so helpful and kind. I would go back there if he was the one assisting me. He deserves the credit of making the situation doable.
