Was scheduled to pick up in Deptford at 930am and received an email at 930am that the location had changed. This is unacceptable.

Truck was old, raggedy, and dirty. I had to sweep out the back of the truck because it wasn’t done. The cab had food that was left on the floor when I picked it up.

The check-in and check-out process took to long. No because of the person who was working. He was a very nice, friendly man. However, since the location was a gas station he was the only person working. The reservation was not in the computer correct. The truck I reserved was not there and I was given a different truck. When I was returning the truck, again only one person was working, he had no idea how to return the truck and openly admitted that. It took me an hour to return the truck. I do want to thank the man who work in the morning because he came back and help with the process. This man was amazing and I am sorry that I didn't get his name. He was very knowledgeable, polite, helpful and had a great attitude towards life and his job.

I had requested an appliance dolly but the truck was only equipped with a utility dolly. This made moving my refrigerator very inconvenient.

My problem was not with the location, rather the overall U-Haul experience. My boyfriend and I used the U-Haul app in obtaining our rental. The app gave us the wrong address for our pick-up location, setting us back almost an hour! It took a while to even be cleared for our rental over the app. My boyfriend's father paid for the U-Haul, yet my credit card got charged for the same price?? Also, the windshield of the truck was cracked and unmarked when we got inside which lead to a 40 minute waiting time on hold with costumer service. Will most likely never use U-Haul again after this experience.

The employees at the pick up location were friendly and personable. However, I’m still not quite sure why my reservation was moved to that location. I figured with making my reservation a month in advance, it would’ve been available at the location I requested or any of the closer u-haul locations. My reservation was moved twice from my original pick up location to one that was ultimately five times further. In the grand scheme of things... not that big of a deal, but it seems to be a shady business practice for a company that charges their customers based on mileage.

1. Pick up location was different than requested. 2. Location change was e-mailed to me the day before, after 5 pm , tried phone number given no one would answer. 3. Location was a mini mart with one attendant attending the gas pumps the mini mart and renting u-hauls. No experience on using a computers , he had to make several calls before he could complete the paperwork, which he did not give me a copy. It took 2 hour for him to finish . This was between pumping gas, taking care of the mini mart and then me.When i applied for express check - out online it said process would be quicker and the truck would be ready (THIS DID NOT HAPPEN) .Attendant did not know which truck was mine . The truck was not loaded with a hand truck or moving pads .Not sure if i was to get a lock for the truck.Hand truck was broken , it was no use to me. 4. Was not walked around the truck or given any instructions . 5. The truck makes a loud hissing noise when at speeds of 70 mph very annoying while driving. 6.Had to remove tar from my window before i left on my trip .Truck front glass not very cleaned . 7. Only good thing was the truck looked fairly new, which was good for the long trip . Location lost the keys. It took over 2 hours to vehicle. Owner was not helpful at all. I ended up going behind counter to type in my information because he was simply inept. Worse experience I have ever had. I will never use U-Haul again. Quite frankly I would like a full refund for my experience w this location.
