PABLO SWhen I called to reserve a Uhaul truck I also told customer service I needed to also reserve an APPLIANCE DOLLY and blankets because I was going to be transporting a REFRIGERATOR to my sons apartment three hours away. And, I have a steep driveway. When I got to U-Haul they had NO DOLLY. Her suggestion: go buy one at Home Depot and then return it for a refund. I had no choice but to buy one at ACE HARDWARE (An extra $140 that I was not counting on spending). The truck reads: RIGHT EQUIPMENT / LOW COST. That is false advertising. Uhaul needs to get its act together and if people NEED to rent an appliance dolly they need to make sure they have plenty in stock. This was completely unacceptable!! Also, no email or phone call to warn me ahead of time. Bad business!! 😡
Caroline KNo one there to help me hook up my au haul trailer to the U Haul truck hitch. Could not reposition the passenger side mirror The visor on the drivers side hung down The gas tank was not full I our tow truck driver had not stayed to help, I would have been stuck.
