Really friendly owner. As it was a U-Haul Neighbourhood Dealer, it wasn't full-service, but I had booked on the phone, so all I needed to do was pick-up the truck. Everything was in order.

It's the first rental location I've ever dealt with in over 30 years of truck rentals that didn't allow an after-hours return. I had to drop off the truck and pick up my car, drive 1/2 hour home that night, then drive 1/2 hour to the location the next morning, check the truck in which required no actual action or activity on my part and took less than 3 minutes, then drive 1/2 hour to get home again. It would have been much more convenient to have just arrived Saturday night, dropped the keys through the mail slot in the door and get my reciept in the mail.Instead of 1.5 hours of my time wasted. I would never rent from this location again. I was told this is a Uhaul policy. If that is the case, I would never rent from Uhaul again.

The gas needle was the same as when I picked it up and the guy argued with me about it...on the receipt is wrong!( and he knows it) i took pictures...I only went 10 km...put 5 dollars of gas in the car...and they still charged me 10.95 extra in gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, the guy made a bad call with this unnecessary extra charge. I will not be coming back

Day 2 : we drove out to our SCHEDULED LOCATION DROP OFF. AS IN WE FUCKING DISCUSSED THIS SHIT WITH THE 1410 LOCATION PEOPLE. WE AGREE THIS IS THE LOCATION DROP OFF. I arrive, the gentleman then proceeds to say these words to me, "so you decided to just drop off your unit whereever you wanted". Really kind words I thought, so after i'm dumbfounded with my own stupidity, i mean how could i possibly think i can drop off where ever i wanted huh. Fuck me right?! He decides to give his boss a call, who tells him to take the unit, but clearly I have taken too much of his time. He gives me some shit attitude which i guess i deserve i mean fuck, I am the customer, I am the asshole in this situation always. Anyways he takes the vehicle kinda miserably, gives me my deposit back, and sends me on my way. Do you guys wanna rate my Uhaul experience? Excellent Above average Average Below average Poor

My rental, originally from Oak Dollar Plus, was delayed by an hour, from 9:30 to 10:30, and switched to this location, a 6 km difference from my original starting point. Since the van was booked for 12:30, the employee at Dunbar put the onus on me to get the van back in time lest I be charged a late fee, yet I was told by the Oak Dollar employee that I would have my original 3 hour booking even though it was delayed. I have yet to receive the $50 reservation guarantee credit that was promised to me from my original reservation at Oak Dollar due to the last minute delay but I have been charged for services at the Dunbar location. Improvements to strongly consider are updating the operating system so that locations can better communicate with each other and be able to administer the credits automatically across locations.

I opted for no insurance because I was only going down the street and back. Yet, I was still charged and not allowed to change this. This is very cheeky and not right. it may only be $15 but that is not the point. the point is that I choice something and your company still charged me. I will never use U-haul again.
