Location and truck were both great. Did not receive the info for how much to fill the gas tank until after I returned the truck which is pretty dumb

Nothing that I could think of. I was very satisfied with the service. I'm not sure why there are a lot of negative reviews about this location. I had a pleasant experience with the dealer. I would definitely rent a UHaul from this location again.
The mobile return did not work after attempting and re-attempting for over half hour. We returned keys and called the next day and were told the reservation was closed. We look at the invoice and we are now being charged for damages on the vehicle?? We have pictures that we took when we dropped it off and there are no damages. I have not had a bad rental experience until now and will not be renting from here again.
The person in your Dunbar office was incredibly rude, condescending and not in the least bit helpful. Never ever again would I use this service, he smartly asked if we were able to read numbers because we called when outside the store but were unsure if it was the right one,probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I was cautious about selecting this location due to all of the negative Google reviews cautioning of rude workers and fuel scams, but I am pleased to say that I had a great experience at this location. I got my furniture dolly and pads quickly and was on my way in no time. Upon returning I was running late but the employee was understanding and didn't make an issue out of it at all, even though I was most certainly to blame. I just wanted to write the review to redeem this location and, and the very least, the employee who helped me with my rental.

the site was down or having problems when I wanted to pick up the truck. It did not come back up and start working until 15 minutes after my pick up time. Very frustrating.
Friendly and helpful service. Moving alone causes a great deal of stress and with covid-19 on top of that I was very grateful for the patience and understanding of Sukhbir while experienced difficulties trying to register my license on my mobile.

The employee helping with the rental had an offensive attitude and was quite rude. We had trouble with the self pick-up due to an inability to check in with location services (on two different phones the location setting was turned on and the browser app permission was allowed but we got messages that it was unable to detect location). Whether this was a glitch or some extra security on our devices, the employee was very condescending with multiple comments about our inability to use out own phones and complaints about having to change the set-up to check out through the store (which took less than 5 minutes after 15 minutes of trying and confusion with his repeat comment to "just turn on location"). Also unnecessary trips back and forth from the side street parking to the store as he did not specify the cargo van we rented was just white with no uhaul marking - we were not expecting to attempt to pick up an unmarked van that could have been anyone's vehicle off the street. Again, with quite an unprofessional attitude as if this should have been obvious and we were disturbing him by clarifying. Overall the cargo van itself was good for our purpose and exactly as expected but we were very disappointed with the customer service at this location.
The agent was NOT helpful on the phone when I tried to book a reservation. When I went to the location in person he was rude and condescending. Very difficult man to deal with
I don't like the online walk through system. The webpage didn't seem to work well from an apple cellphone. I understand that this is probably designed to speed up the process but was far slower. Also, looking for damage on a large truck on a small screen isn't the most sensible. Much preferred the old system of person walking out with you.
THIS REVIEW SHOULD BE ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE!! Not about the pickup location! The location was ok! All process in the U-HAUL website was terrible!!!!!! The worst experience possible! Reasons: 1st, you should stop to push items to my cart! 2nd, the site lets me choose a car and options that are not available. Few minutes after my order was changed without asking me anything. 3rd, in the day, my order was changed to online pickup. I had to fill EVERYTHING again!! It's ridiculous!! 4th, this review it's not made to evaluate my experience. Otherwise, you have asked questions about all processes. Hope this feedback makes a difference "to improve for the next customer"!

Hire polite and helpful staff
This is not at all necessary because of all the instructional stickers but just to be sure, if the customer hasn't driven that type of vehicle before it would be nice do go over things like the parking brake release and headlights. Again, the stickers were there, but in the excitement and anxiety of moving it took a few minutes to realize these things.

The UHAUL website was not very transparent it appeared to me on that the tax was not included in the online payment. Once I got to Uhaul I did not have any room on my card anymore had to use debit for $142 in taxes. BUT then got charged $125 deposit because I used debit WHY? This seems like a punishment for using cash. I can appreciate the deposit is necessary under the current policies and procedures BUT to make matters worse for me when I returned the Uhaul I could not get $125 back which is frustrating and now have to call customer service. I live with a disability and on fixed income. I have $4.90 left to my name and it makes me mad that I have to go this extra step. I also emailed Uhaul day before due back. I had a sick 22 year old cat. I requested two extra days ( $80 ) I was left a strongly worded message that it can not be authorized without the credit card. This was frustrating as my deposit could have payed for it but instead I had to pay an additional $170 for the two extra days and unable to apply the $125 deposit. Not cool and the software used by agents should support people who want to use debit which is cash to me and should not be punished for using cash in the form of a $125What was that for anyhow? I had already paid $1202 on my card. Not sure my comments will be noted or taken into account but I am most displeased at this business practice of charge a deposit for using a debit card.
