look into and adjust to how you charge customers that fall into an emergency or have little means to move.. uhaul could be even better if they help the underdogs.

Excellent Easy check out and return Very happy

They called me immediately as I had left an expensive motorcycle helmet in the van. I appreciated their prompt and courteous contact. Thank you!

I originally tried to rent a truck closer to me but none available for the size and time I needed. Very happy

The process was a nightmare, supposedly the truck was there ready and waiting for me, count not find the truck waited in line for 25mins and they finally sorted it out took around 40mins of run around and frustration

Drop off was easy and quick!

Good service. Thanks!

I greatly appreciate the guy that hooked it up and unhooked it for me.

Open at a convenient time on Sundays.

Cosmo, the guy who hooked up the trailer to my truck was great.

I rented a trailer, got told I had to drive to Vancouver instead of the place down the street a week after putting in my reservation. I know the trailer could have been brought down, but that wasn't done, instead I drove four hours in holiday rush hour traffic to get it and back. I also got charged tax, despite being an Oregon resident and was forced to buy a $14 adapter for the trailer. I will never use U-Haul again after this experience. There was an opportunity to ease the burden on a customer and the staff at this and the Beaverton location decided it wasn't worth their time.

The customer service was outstanding. The store was busy, packed and socially distanced. The staff did not stress and interacted with the customers to let them know they were working as best they could.

Check in person re-entered my information after I had already done the eCheck-in. The gentleman helping connect the trailer was great, very upbeat!

I have rented trucks and other equipment from U-Haul in the past; the last time it was just over a month ago. This time I was renting just a utility dolly; however, she demanded I provide her with some reference, or passport, or military ID, etc. That was highly unusual, and I was taken aback by this “policy”.

A little annoyed that my pickup location was changed. I was called but nothing that told me my location changed. Either leave that in the message or have the truck at the location I chose. I tried to call but the automated message said I had a 15 to 20 minute wait. Very unhappy with that.

More assistance from U-Haul employees with inspection and use of equipment before departing with truck. Instruction videos on U-Haul website would be helpful.

Honestly, kind of a bummer and unimpressed with the customer service and staff throughout my experience. I reserved 24 rental boxes two weeks in advance and when I arrived to pick them up they didn't have them ready, they didn't have the number I requested available and seemed surprised I was there and that I had paid/rented them ahead of time. The woman said “usually people just drop in and pick these up” and “I didn't know you had a reservation” — maybe keep that dialogue to yourself. Overall, just seemed uninterested in my business and that it was my fault/no big deal. I had to prompt the woman working the counter to finally ask her manager if she could refund for me for the boxes they didn't have for my reservation or give me some cardboard boxes since I need something to move my stuff with regardless. (Manager said yes and then she forgot to give me the boxes which I had to ask another man for.) They also had like 10 bins they were using to create social distancing barriers at the counters; which is totally important and necessary, but probably could've been replaced with something/anything else if you looked ahead each day to see what reservations you have coming in and don't have enough of something to fulfill it. Need to encourage staff to look for solutions and problem solve. I also thought it was bizarre I had to return them to the shop I rented them. I had to drive over two hours to return them to that specific shop even though there was another UHAUL location 10 mins from my home. Seems like something that could be handled internally by UHAUL, even if for an addtl fee. And, when I went to rent a truck I reserved a certain one and then two days before my reservation they called back to say they didn't have it and I could rent one twice the size. Which I didn't need and probably couldn't drive and at this point, I was uncertain if they would let me down for a third time so I cancelled it and I ended up going with a private moving company that supplied the truck, drivers and movers because I needed to know for sure I would have something for my move before the end of the month. Too much avoidable chaos and stress for when you're moving. UHAUL should be looking for ways to make it simpler and consistent for people who are already mentally fried from having to move and get a bunch of things done on a timeline.

Personnel was friendly and efficient. Equipment was top notch!

It was very easy to make a reservation and the drop off was super easy

I paid for a full day rate but was only allowed to rent the truck for a couple hours. I should not have been charged the full amount due to time restrictions or should not have been harassed by the employees to return the truck at a specific time.

Staff had a great attitude and desire to help!

The inside had some dirty/oily stuff in the bed of the truck rental.

Will was so awesome to work with. Your company has a great employee with Will working for you. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So quick and very organized. Employees knew their job and were very friendly even during a busy time.

They had all the equipment I needed (truck and tow equipment), but your webpage said they did not. You need to improve your webpage.
