U-Haul should advise of not compliance of needs of costumer I order a 6x12 trailer at one location they put me in a different location with a smaller trailer and end up paying twice as much besides not being able to haul all my stuff not happy with that

Our drop off time on our paper said 0815 yet the building didn't open until 0900. There was no legitimate parking for a 20 ft truck and trailer. Had to leave it partially parallel parked between the parking stalls.

The U-Haul Guarantee is worthless... I had a pickup reservation set for 8am! I did not appreciate waiting an hour for the store to open at 9am. This not only set me back on packing but on the receiving end as well for I had to push meetings because I was late due to the location not being ready for my pickup time. How do I get my $50?

We were charged for extra mileage. We went straight from the first uhaul location to old home to new home and to pickup place. Only stopping on route to get gas once for fill up before drop off. My only assumption is they did not incorporate how far pick up location was and the shorter route would go through a tunnel that wouldn't fit the uhaul.

The employees were very good, the truck clean and fit our needs; the location's negative is it's hard to get in and out, esp if you have a large truck.

Two major things happened at this location. The first was that the attendant informed me that my truck was due at another location. I told him the previous location set it up where I could drop off anywhere but he did not agree. I then called up uhaul customer service where I remained on hold for approx. 20 mins. There are more details which I will happily discuss, but not focusing on the solution(me dropping off the truck at this location) causes uncessary problems. Secondly, I filled the gas tank to 3/4(original amount( though a hair of a fraction of the 3/4 dash was showing. I was charged for fuel as they marked down the fuel level at the next lowest mark. I believe this to be fraudulent and unethical. Not to mention this drop off took an extraordinary amount of time so one would think the location wouldn't make this experience any worse.

If there were a rating lower than poor I would use it. Uhaul is a nationwide extremely large company and my review comes from a place of complete and utter disappointment. Customer service quailty is the face of a company and uhaul completely let me down and shocked me with your inadequate and non-apologetic excuses. I found out I needed to be out of my house I was selling one day prior due to a change in the closing. Readily 30 min after finding out I needed to move I went to uhaul.com at 12pm and reserved the uhaul I needed that was only a mile or so away. It was a nice 26ft truck, as I was moving a 3 bedroom house and full garage it was the perfect size. I then went home to pack. At 7pm I get a call from "Steve". Steve sounds confused but says he was calling to help with my reservation. What Steve did tell me was that needing a truck for 7 days was very unusual and offered to rent me a storage unit. I declined as I simply just wanted to park the truck for a few days and only move my belongings once as a single mom with 3 kids. Next he told me that I actually didn't make a reservation online and that he did not have a 26ft truck for me because they were reserved for the weekend. Uhaul: every 26ft truck across south west Washington reserved. Like most vehicle rental companies, sometimes you have to drive vehicles to a location from somewhere else to accommodate need. Steve said this was not achievable. He told me I could have a 15ft truck. I need 26ft and he can give me a 15ft. This truck however I cannot even pick up at the location close to me. I have to drive over 7 miles to get the truck that is far too small that I need. I hung up and tried calling customer service. Ended up calling twice as the first time they rebooted me into their main calling menu. Twice I talked to two separate "Judys'" that were completely incompetent and said that I, the customer, could call their traffic dispatch at 7am on the morning of my move to see if there were other options. Options which I feel as a well paying customer they should be responsible for and above that striving to help with. This is their business after all. There was no avail and I was left trying to jigsaw my home into a tiny truck which was way below appropriate, even to uhaul's recommendations. A 15ft truck is for moving a 1 bed apartment. It of course did not all fit, causing a landslide of other technical problems that required much troubleshooting along with another trailer. Their truck was well enough except for Uhaul now permanently installing a dolly and pads in the truck that take upwards of 24sqft of space. To use them all you do is break the tag and you'll be charged. I did not need the dolly or pads. What I did need was the 24sqft of space to use of a truck that I rented. So I broke the tags and removed those items, knowing that I would then have to discuss and explain why I would not be paying for using those items. I can say that the only saving grace to Uhaul wer

When I got to the location it was close, there was a note on the doors it say that he will be back in 30 minutes but I was there waiting for 1hour and 30 minutes that's how long the worker took to get back

My issue was 1) I was told that I had to bring it back to the same location when writen on the side of the trailer was "one way anywhere". 2) I came back during business hours and there was no one to receive it.

Was told to top off tank since truck was full, Truck gas gauge said full, but when I went to top it off before return it took nearly 5 gallons. I only drove around 30 to 40 mile, most of it highway in a pickup. The gauge was well above the full mark when returned. I was, perhaps inadvertently, conned out of $9 worth of gas
