There was confusion regarding pick up of the truck although not the fault of the Anco Hardware location - the day before we were to pick it up. we stopped by to confirm the pick up time as we were in the area. At that time there was no record of our reservation in their records which created a mild panic. We were told that we were probably supposed to pick it up at a different location and we would be notified by email. Upon returning home, I called UHaul directly and was told my request submitted the prior day was not confirmed, it was only a request, that the confirmation was pending depending on availibility. Again, this created a panic as we had made plans around having the vehicle. All turned out OK, we were able to pick it up at our requested location at the requested time however the uncertainly for several hours was distressing. I was not made aware at the time I placed the request that confirmation was pending. Otherwise, our experience was excellent at both the receiving site and return site.

Stop charging junk fees like "domestic security protection" =$5.00. You already charge an "environmental fee" on top of tax, insurance, mileage and deposit. It's ridiculous and unaffordable for a 4 hour rental totalling less than 10 miles.
TERESA DWas looking for a trailer but none was there
Craig PI was under the impression that I could return the u haul to any location. Like my family member did the week before but for some reason this time this was not the case. I was charged $304 extra on top of the original $120 I spent to rent it. I returned it same day like I agreed to in my contract and thought I was done. I got a text message three days later telling me it’s time to return the u haul truck. When I had returned the truck same day. Would not recommended or ever use U Haul again.
WILLIAM UJimmy was super. He was friendly and helpful. Super experience and like Jimmy says "Jimmy Pettett and don't forget it!" He was a super nice guy and welcomed me as a new member of the community.
