The person at the Kwikstop was fine, truck was parked in mud-entrance field not mowed and ruts. This was our 4th location to attempt to pick up the truck, first place we were sent via the reservation did not have the truck we had reserved, we were then sent to another location that had the truck, but was not open for business. The main location on Waco Drive in Waco had trucks but could not give us one for one way drop off and sent us to this 4th location. It was not until the next morning after loading the previous day/night when we pulled out at 6 a.m. that we realized the truck had no running lights/back lights working, very dangerous on I-35 in Texas in the dark.

Jeanne LThis rental ended up costing me and my wife over $600 because of the gas station employees. I get that they’re not U-Haul staff, but the first guy had zero understanding of how to help me. So had to do it myself on my phone. I would have called customer service immediately, but he assured me that I could call later. After calling later I found out that there was zero chance I could leave the truck at a drop off in the city I moved to. I had to pay extra and drive it back, after changing plans completely. The final straw was when I arrived back at this location late, the guy, different guy, lied to my face. He said it was gonna be an extra charge, and I told him what had happened already, and he changed his mind. “I got you man, I’ll put it in that you were not late” is what he told me. Whatever. I guess I found out the hard way that U-Haul locations are not all run by official employees anymore and that you can’t trust a word the non-employees says because they have zero of the integrity/knowledge that a person should expect from something with a billion dollar company’s name on it.

LEROY GThis place is a crooked place I rented a truck apparently the back had dust in it because I was charged a cleaning fee for something I didn’t do I only moved 43 boxes nothing else so truck had dust in it and the truck fuel was not full but I was told I had to fill it up are I was going to be charged at a higher rate. This guy doesn’t need to be a U-Haul dealer very crooked when I ask to see pictures he told me to leave his property.
