This location was great and the employee we interacted with was super helpful and proactive. UHaul’s scheduling as usual was a complete disaster that put me as the customer and the employee at Ideal Self Storage in a bad spot at the last minute and made things stressful and difficult. Luckily the people at Ideal Self Storage were sympathetic and helped as much as possible

TIN HMy son and I rented from the same location the week before with no issues, and we found the staff were friendly and engaging. My second experience was a little less enjoyable. The guy who helped this time seemed agitated, though the interaction was fine, but it was not similar to the week before. The biggest concern for me was that I'm pulling a 12'-trailer with a 38' bus, and this 50' combination is not the easiest to maneuver through town. I had ordered an appliance dolly for this particular trip. I was not informed of the lack of this equipment until I arrived. He told me that I was welcome to go around to other locations and see if they had one, but didn't offer to look in their system himself or to make any calls. I had a reservation for the equipment, so I assumed it would be there, and driving around Waco looking was not an option, and calling is not easy due to damage to my vocal cords - it is why I use the app.
