Went to pick up my pick up, it had a flat tire, went inside told the service representative it was flat, they seemed stressed and mad and did not believe me and made it clear they were upset that they had to get up off their chair and check out a situation I had nothing to do with. So they ended up giving me a different pick up truck. Then once I returned the pick up I paid in cash everything was fine until i open my email and received TWO receipts stating my payments. One my actual payment in cash in store for the truck I used and second a charge to my credit card for the truck I never used that had a flat tire and was canceled. So I call customer service tell them that I have a receipt for a charge on my card that shouldn't be there and they tell me I have two wait 5 days to see what happens because they don't know. Even though I was told my card would not be charged.

Please ensure you have the proper mileage recorded. I had a 10' truck that was recorded for 14118 mi on the odometer, when it really had 61898 mi. Luckily, I took a picture of the odometer before I left the parking lot and avoided a $15000 fee.

I asked for an appliance dolly. Brother was there and he heard me ask for an appliance dolly NOT utility. Things fall broken scratched wasn't happy. When I went back to the place that I got the U-Haul and the dolly the woman says I see here your request for appliance dolly.the difference seen. made a $7 difference okay and she said sorry for the inconvenience. This morning I get a note from the U-Haul place telling me an appliance dolly was never requested it wasn't in my order we're sorry we're not responsible. If you do go to them check them carefully papers equipment everything I trusted him I won't again!

I paid an extra amount of money to have UHaul hook up the car tow trailer and secure the car. The woman hooking it up at UHaul was very rude, and told me I'd have to backup the truck with trailer attached to get out of the parking lot. I I asked her to please get it headed in the right direction, as I didn't think I could make the turn I frequently drive a 40 foot class A RV and tow a car on a tow dolly, so I know how this works..Even the Gen Manager could not get it out of the lot the way it was aimed when they hooked it up. He ended up jack knifing the trailer and scooching it side ways on the tires to get it turned around . Then after the trailer was turned around and attached to the truck, she proceeded to attach the straps.When I stopped after driving for 10 minute to check the straps, the front right strap was off the wheel! Very bad. It had never been latched down!! I put it back on and then when we stopped for gas later, the left one was off. I had to take the car off the trailer, lay out the straps (they did not lay them out, just slipped them over the tires), drove the car back on and secured the tires properly with the straps.I got no instructions how to use anything, no instruction manual for the truck or dolly, no mention that there was a towing trailer indicator light on the dash and how to use that, nothing about the "manual" override transmission (which we discovered 3 states later)and NO explanation of anything. Also the truck did NOT have cruise control, which was very inconvenient for a cross country trip. I am very unhappy with this U-Haul at Alpine Ave,2345 Alpine Ave NW Walker, MI 49504. Also I specifically said I wanted to return it to Glenwood UHaul in Eugene OR and they booked it into another one.

We wanted a 5x10 and they gave us a 5x8 enclosed trailer instead there was only one person inside that I could talk to and there were 3 other customers waiting. I didn't have time to talk to anyone.

I talked to a young woman to let her know that you have the wrong email address. And I wanted to make sure that there wasn't anything going on that I should be concerned about. She was actually very rude and let me know that I was wasting her time. I asked her to remove my email address from the order, she insisted that someone had typed a letter wrong and it came to mine by mistake. But I keep getting emails from you. It's not good for me to have her receipt and a lot of her personal information. Please remove my email address from your contacts. i would recomend to a friend ,but warn them about the fact i wanted safe move , and got safe move plus instead. it $10 difference,,and it's a sneaky tactic that just pisses me off ! called them ,,,,,nope cant do nothing. im only half done with my move,,,other half will be with someone else if i dont get my $10 back ! i only give ya one chance to clip me !

Double check mileage on vehicles. The last two digits were transposed for the odometer when I picked up the vehicle, which I didn't pick up on, resulting in confusion when I returned it because I only drive 15 miles and because of the recorded milage was charged for 68. THANKFULLY, your staff was wonderful and understanding, and acknowledged the numbers were incorrect, so charged me the correct amount.

I was 7 hours late in returning a unit that I had rented for one week. It was a cargo van that I paid almost $1,000 for it's use, with mileage. It would have been nice to waive the extra one day charge for being 7 hours late. Other than that, the Ford Transit van is an amazing vehicle. Good choice, U-Haul.
