The hand truck I rented had the wrong number listed on my contract but when the drop-off location charged me $156.00 for the hand truck I called this location and they corrected the number as well as saw that I had $156.00 returned to my account.

I was pleased with my service, but one person had to complete my paperwork while also signing for store inventory and attending to customers at the cash register. He handled it well, but it could be a problem at times.
The equipment & service were EXCELLENT! The problem was this location was also a gas station/convenience store with one person to handle the store, the gas pumps, all extras at the store, & the trailers. It took probably 45 minutes extra because of all the extra duties. That was the ONLY problem.
Have an employee on location that knows the procedure
The gentleman had a hard time logging my info in the computer..I had to leave go home pay online then return and get the uhaul.
make sure the equipment is in good working order, the truck I picked up had a buzzer that would not stop. after 2 hours of none stop ding, ding, ding! you get very irritated have more than one person running the store, I had to wait a long time because the clerk would stop helping me to checking out customers getting snacks and sodas
Person at location didn't seem to know how to check out one way vehicle in. He had us take a photo of his screen to prove we turned it in to him. His equipment wasn't working. He had to use my phone to pull up my info. Thank goodness we got it emailed to us ahead of time. No paper receipt for tax purposes, though.
Far better experience than pick up unit.
The owner/operator was awesome and recommend him for all your uhaul needs. He will work with you and goes above and beyond to help you out!
Right rear tire was flat. I didn't notice until I got the car hauler to my house (about a mile away). Had to keep filing the tire during the day. Luckily it was an "in-town" rental and I only had to go about 50 miles away to pick up a vehicle. For the 100 mile round trip I had to fill the tire four times.
They have no idea what they are doing - they argued with me over a VIP gift certificate and I had to call a field manager to help - they could not check the truck in so I had to just leave and hope for the best - when checking the truck out they asked me to help with the computer - it was ridiculous - I will never go back there
Haven't been able to open the attachment that was sent for viewing receipt. Would like to be able to see receipt.
The odometer mileage showed 22 miles above the value on the check-out contract. I took a picture and called about the discrepancy, and was told to not worry. I started to drive off, but decided to first check if the dolly was in the back. Found it was not in the truck. I had to go back to the store to ask about the dolly I had ordered with the rental truck. Other than those 2 things, the rental was okay.

Computer was down did not get a contact on paper. Had to drive to a second locstion to pickup the rental truck. While waiting to pick up had to let clerk wait on 4-5 customers. Overall feeling of Uhaul being a low priority part of the location noone even checked for damage I was simply handed the key. Also there was no Appliance dolley as I reserved with the truck
Better communication skills with the staff. Totally unprofessional manager!
I was not happy with the procedure of locating a truck the day after a holiday. I realize that many places are closed the day of and the day after Thanksgiving and thats perfectly okay. They just need to make uhaul dot com aware of it. I went thru 3 different places before I finally found one that was open on the 25th of November. Had I not called each of these places to verify I had a reservation I would not have known they were closed on the 25th and I would not have had a truck. I think maybe there might be a better way to handle the reservations.
The pickup facility was in very poor condition, but the person running it was very friendly and was very helpful. The trailer I rented was grade A shape...clean and no issues.
We turned the trailer in a day early and was told we would receive a refund, but have not seen it yet! That is my only complaint!
I originally had a reservation at the location on S. Tennessee street, I was suppose to pick the truck up at 8 a.m. at 9 a.m. I called customer service because no one had arrived to open store, I didnt get her name but she was very helpful in finding me another location and transferring my reservation to the store on McDonald street that opened at 9:30. I was very upset because now I was an hour and a half behind schedule. I was told that there have been several complaints about the location on Tennessee. They should not say they open at 8 and then not show up when ever they feel like coming to work. The man at the McDonald location was very helpful.
