When dropping off the truck there was no personal at the location. I didn't really know what to do. Just left truck there and called Uhaul.

Vehicle hadnwat3r in driver doo4, comment was, “well, it rained.” The oil light came on and owner said it was OK to drive cross country with the oil light per his regional manager. I complained further and they said they would send another truck, really, after it was half loaded!! They sent the maintenance person who was great, he said ALL fluids were loaded, truck had not even been looked at!

I rented a 15 foot Uhaul the day of rental the guy cashed me out and said he was sending a receipt to my email and that it may take a little while to go through this was at about 10am.... Hours later it still hadn't come through... So I knew they closed at 7pm and that I would be done with the Uhaul before 7 so I told myself I’ll just get the receipt situation situated upon returning it. So I get to the gas st across the street from the Uhaul at about 6:30 I fill up the tank and head across the street the time is 6:40 lo and behold they’re close. So I drop the keys in the drop box their hours say they open up at 8am. I show up the next day at 7:45 am the worker didn’t show up until 9am the next day. So he remembered me from the previous day he said how can I help you I said I need a receipt. He begin to say I sent it to you I said I didn’t receive it can you print me out one he says no you’ll have to call customer service to get a receipt... So I proceeded to say you haven’t even finalized anything with the miles and gas this doesn’t make sense. So he says oh yea that’s probably why you didn’t get a receipt. So he goes through the final process still no receipt... And I needed this receipt so that I can be reimbursed by the military and also just generally because I did business with you so you should be able to provide me with a receipt. He tells me I need to call customer service to get a receipt. After being on hold 2 hours with customer service I finally get a receipt... And then this guy has the nerve to lie on the account summary and says I didn’t fill the tank up so their was a $8 fee for gas... This place is straight trash I will never be doing business there again.

I rented a truck for four hours and returned it within 3 hours. My credit card was charged for 4 days and 4 hours. Nobody from customer service will return my messages. This was fraudulent business practice. I need my charges corrected.

The only thing I would recommend is that Lightening give his customers his direct phone number, since they are renting from his establishment. I have found that by calling the 800 number, I was told to contact the establishment that rented the truck to me to answer any questions I mugh this have, other than that, I had an excellent experience...thank you, Lightening! ??????
