Even after commiting the same price for a different trailer I was charged way too much than the committed price. I wouldn't ever hire a uhaul in my life. The service was pathetic, the reserved uhaul was locked, and it took me an hour and half to get a different trailer, and even after repeated assurance I was overcharged for the rental.

I had to wait on the phone dealing with U-Haul customer service. Just to be able to pick up my rental cuz there was nobody there that would help me. I'm still waiting on a call back from customer service. U-Haul
SHAUN JArrived to pick up flatbed trailer, it was buried in mud and melting snow. Ruined my shoes hooking it up in mud hole. No help from staff.
garry lI had called the site in advance to ensure that my trailer was ready. They told me it was. I went to pick up my trailer and it was buried in the snow. There was only one staff member on site, and she seemingly had two brain cells in total. She told me the that there was nobody around to dig it out of the snow. The only tool she was willing to share with me was one shovel. She had a poor attitude. I asked her why I was told when I called ahead, that the trailer was ready for pickup, when in fact it was buried in a mountain of snow. She had no good answer for this - she told me I spoke to "dispatch," who had no idea what conditions were like at their centre. She also said dispatch had not notified them of my reservation on the day of pickup. I asked why, if they partner with Uhaul, they are not notified by them when reservations are upcoming so they can prepare the trailer in advance. She told me that this was not her problem. She had a terrible attitude, the trailer was absolutely BURIED in the snow. Luckily I was able to call some friends who brought tools and helped me dig it out. It took over two hours for me to pickup the trailer, when I expected it to take 15-20 minutes max when the dispatch told me the trailer was ready. It delayed my travel plans by a full day, as it completely disrupted my moving schedule. 0/10 would not recommend.
