I had reserved a 5 x 8 cargo trailer a week in advance, specifying Wayland Do It Best Hardware as the pickup loc'n. I had driven by the place the day before pickup, and saw that a 5 x8 trailer was there. But, Uhaul sent me an email saying that I had to choose another location for pickup because Wayland hardware "may not" have a 5 x 8 trailer. So, I was forced to OK a different pickup loc'n (Gillett's Hardware, Shelbyville). But, UHaul never sent me any sort of confirmation of the change (by email or by text or by voice call). So, I stopped in to Wayland Hardware and asked if I was supposed to pick up the trailer there, or at Gilletts. Wayland Hardware said that they never rec'd a request from Uhaul to reserve anything for me! They said that my reservation request should be in their system. But, they never got it! So, Uhaul's reservation system is a total failure. The left hand knows not what the right hand is doing. HOW CAN THIS SIMPLE RESERVATION HAVE GOTTEN SCREWED UP? We did change my reservation for pickup at Wayland, and that is what I did. So Wayland Hardware was not at fault. But UHAUL corporate is at fault. Terrible system control.

Zoltan HThe truck was clean and well maintained. The staff was annoyed that I needed to rent a uhaul. It took a long time to check in and check out. My bill was wrong and when I questioned it, they were sure I was wrong, made me feel insignificant. They said there was nothing they could do to fix it, out of their hands. So i am not a happy customer.
