I rented a truck and returned it after office hours. Upon review of my contract, I discovered I had been charged a $25 cleaning fee, despite the truck being returned clean. After calling and speaking with an employee, I was told this charge was received due to where the truck was parked when we returned it and was non-negotiable (even though this was where we were told to park it). The bottom line here is that if a company wants to charge a parking fee, that needs to be communicated up front, and they need to be more clear about what parking locations are acceptable. Disguising a parking fee as a cleaning fee is customer manipulation. I would never use this company again, as they are not afraid to nickle and dime customers.

I requested a 20 footer, then reduced to 15 but picked up a 26 footer because that is all they had available. I had reserved it 10 days before pickup. Truck ran great, easy to drive and used less fuel than I would have expected to.

Our pickup was scheduled for 9am on a Sunday so we were instructed to use the digital pickup option. When we got there, we clicked “pick up my truck” and it said there was an error with the reservation (even though we had received texts and a call comfirming) so I told the man on site he said he needed to go inside and click something then it would work. I tried again and it still didn’t work. At this point, I asked if he could just process it for us since he was there and the site wasn’t working. He said he wasn’t supposed to because he had too much to do that morning. So was I supposed to just sit there and keep trying? It wasn’t working! After asking again and telling him there was no other way for us to get the truck he rudely agreed. Our experience would have been much better without this rude employee. Returning the truck we had no issues with the site but I would never choose to do this again. It was pouring and we were stuck outside taking pictures and trying to get info. Not a pleasant experience.

The employees at this place are very respectful and helpful. I rented an auto transport for the first time. They Installed the auto transport to my truck, showed me how to secure the vehicle to the auto transport and answered all my questions before I left. Their customer service exceeded my expectations. I will recommend and use their services again. Thank you for making the U-Haul experience such a good one.
