Moving blankets were wet and moldy and they read the gas gauge wrong and I was charged a fuel fee even tho I put the exact gas back in. Horrible experience

The rep was rude. She called me after 7am, way too early, and demanded that I brought back the truck because I was inconveniencing another customer. I told her that I had asked about not returning the truck by the return time to which she replied that I’d pay for two days. I returned the truck with a lot more gas than I got it with because I had planned to do another trip which I was forced to cancel. Additionally, I paid for the two days although I had to cut the time I kep it and not complete my move.

The rep couldn't get the computer to make a contract so he had to move to another computer which he then helped the customer that was sitting there waiting that came in after me. I was there for an extra 10 mins cause he helped them 1st.. quoted me the wrong price when he 1st setup the contract then told me it was the computers fault.. didnt walk me to the van just told me were it was, and even that was confusing because the directions werent exact instead of telling me to look for the van #, I had to figure it out for myself.. then when I got back to drop off he didnt come out when it says wait for rep to assist but I just sat there.. again only customer... I had to go in and tell the rep I was there.. he went out to check the vehicle he then helped another person that pulled up instead of just telling me I was ok to go.. and then another customer pulled up and he helped them before I had to go out and tell him I had to leave. At that time i was told an email was sent and I could go. Clean place good van just bad customer service.

I was extremely upset at UHaul, My original reservation was for Bayshore location, Bar B Q World. I arrived there after driving 25 minutes to find out they had rented my car dolly. I did not receive a phone call. i received no apologies and was told, "it happens". I had to drive an additional 15 min to Weast Babylon location. overall I will never use U Haul ever again. The Bayshore location was combative, not professional and had extremely poor customer service. They did not even help me get a new car dolly.

I rented a truck well in advance of this trip (several weeks), and requested a pick-up in my town. I needed a 4x6 truck. I was told a day in adance that my location changed to several towns away. Due to the location, I needed to pick up the truck that day, a day earlier, which cost me more money. When I got there a 6 X 12 truck was awaiting. The young kid that worked there didn't seem to care it wasn't what I ordered and just told me that is what is the computer. He had no personality. I had to call U-haul's main number myself, to find my truck wasn't available so they gave me a free upgrade at no-cost. THANKS FOR TELLING ME!!! I didn't want a free upgrade, I was taking my kids back to college and moving that bigger truck around 2 separate campuses was extremely inconvenient when the colleges were 6 and 4 hours away in small towns. I thought if I ordered it in advance I would get the truck and location I requested, I guess that doesn't matter and I should just be thankful I got a trailer???? Not sure about this companies policies. The young kid was helpful puttint the trailer on my truck. Also, I requested the truck until Saturday, I had to call U-haul to add 2 extra days, but because I picked it up a day earlier because of the location, the young kid took those extra 2 days out of the computer and had me returning it Thursday, instead of Saturday. Luckily, the guy at my drop off location called me to confirm my drop off and I had to call U-haul to get those extra days back.

Very disappointed with uhaul. Rserved small box truck to be picked up in Massapequa. Day before get confirm that pickup has been changed to Lindenhurst because Massapequa doesnt have truck available. Arrive at Lindenhurst and they say they have a pickup available. I didnt order a pickup. So they now say try Babylon. I get to Babylon and they only have medium sizebox truck available. I didnt need this and didnt reserve it. Now owner informs me to writeto uhaul. Finally get a truck and when we open back there are roaches in it. Wow! The worst . the very worst experience. When customer smoke cigars in the vehicles the next renter do not have to inhale that smell. The vans need t o be clean before hand.

Make sure gas is on full and employee can answer questions like if the vehicle is allowed on specific roadways, otherwise the guy who checked the van back in needs to be bumped up from parking lot guy he deserves a raise and is an asset to that location.
