Guy that checked me in said wardrobe boxes were the same width and gave me 5 cross bars. Well the largest wardrobe box is actually smaller so 5 bar was too wide. No biggie as I used tall wardrobe for linens and sheetsKirby W.

I used the mobile option to pick up my van. It was the first time I had rented from U-Haul and I was very frustrated with the procedures to pick up the van. The requirement to have two contacts that you actually called and verified I was valid was completely frustrating. This should have been taken care of prior to me getting there. These things are unreasonable when you're trying to get this van picked up and moving. Having two people's numbers that you know are going to answer the phone right at that moment is slightly frustrating. There has to be a better way or we should clearly know a head of time that this is happening. Maybe I missed some instruction but that should certainly be clearly understood upfront.Kelley N.

I am extremely disappointed in my pick up experience. I booked the Fox River Grove location about a month before I needed the truck. The day before my reservation, I am told I need a new location. Then, at that location, I was unable to get keys for the truck and was on the phone with supper for 45 minutes before being sent to a new location. This put me behind schedule by over an hour and was hugely inconvenient and stressful. Customer rep was very nice but said I should look to book on less busier days. If this is the case, 24/7 access is false advertising.MALLORY W.

We rented our uhaul. I declined the safemove fee because our insurance covers the size vehicle we rented. When my husband tried to check out the vehicle, he could not bypass the safe move fee. Then, at the end of the day, we cleaned the vehicle thoroughly, but were assessed a $25 cleaning fee? For what? My husband blew out the few little leaves that had collected, but otherwise the truck was returned safely. Not a positive ending experience...Jose R.
I stay 222 river haven moved around corner don't know how I went over 15 miles plus I rented a storage and no one explain to me I had 6 days sprung my ankle so it was hard fir me to get around so I feel I should only be charged fir 6 days not my 49.oo dollars thank you and be blessedPamela S.

My original reservation was an absolute horrible experience. It was a 24/7 reservation. All instructions said to log in online and follow the instructions. Never would show screen to â€œstart pick upâ€. After 30 mins of going in circles I finally downloaded app, and had no issues. It should say download app NOT log in online. After all that,key was not in lockbox as it should have been. 45 mins later on hold only thing you could do was send me to a different location. That location I have no complaints.Dennis N.
