The inside of the windshield was coated with a thick film. When I drove home into the setting sun at the end of the day all I could see was the dirt on the windshield - not the road. Flying blind is very dangerous. Both side mirrors were also filthy causing rear blindness when the sun was behind me. Pickup also took a long time as the clerk had to correct the contract of the person ahead of me.

The service at this location was so much better than the Natick one! The Natick one didn’t notify me that my reservation for a truck wasn’t available and couldn’t be fulfilled. After a couple of hours of getting the run around, finally the W Roxbury guys came through for me. Natick should have handled this better. I was supposed to get $50 back for the unavailability of my reservation but didn’t. Broken reservations on moving day should at least get a phone call or text or something, at least. I don’t think the call centers should over book trucks so much that people get hosed like this.

We mentioned that the straps were torn because customers probably didn’t know to put them in the clamps properly. The DOT would mention the torn straps. The clamps should be oiled frequently, they were rusted My son, a truck driver, told the U-Haul person, about these issues, and he was so greatful and gracious and would address these issues. Nothing at the West Roxbury Location. I loved the quick efficient service and especially one of your employees named Cameron at the West Roxbury location. He is the nicest person I’ve ever dealt with at a rental company. He deserves to go high up the ranks of i were is boss. He treats you like family. I left very happy cause I was treated amazing and he knew and answered every question that I had and always had a smile n his face. I would like to extend this to his boss to keep a close eye on him cause employees like that are hard to find these days and he’s a great asset to his company and I hope he gets treated well working there and if any promotion ever comes soon you should definitely consider him. I never ever write reviews or compete services. But I had to for him cause I give him beyond 10 stars. He should be appreciated cause he makes people leave and come back happy. Thank you Cameron. The truck smelt awful and was dirty. It has sticky stuff all around the seats and cup holders. I felt I had to clean it a bit before driving around a lot in it, but it was still very smelly. The truck also didn’t break well at all and the wheel shook a ton when breaking. I love using uhaul usually, but this experience did not make me want to continue using uhaul.

Despite the computers being down, the GM in this location kept his cool and helped everyone to the best he could. I was really impressed by him and his sincerity. The only downfall to this location is there’s no parking available on the weekends. This makes getting there and getting back home very tricky.



I was returning the 17' truck my theatre company had rented. After waiting in line behind a customer renting a van I presented my paperwork to the person behind the desk, who asked if I would mind waiting, while he helped the customer who arrived after me, because "they have a reservation". I replied that yes, because I had places to be, too and there was someone waiting in the parking lot for me as well. Your employee then became huffy, surly and uncommunicative, demonstrating in action and the few words he denied to speak to me after that his utter displeasure that I would not accommodate his desire to serve another customer before tending to my business.
