I rented a 20' truck and was charged $1.59 per mile, but price was listed on the U-Haul web page as $1.09. I was also charged for furniture pads that I did not request neither used. In total my bill came $24.60 higher than estimated ...

When picking up the truck I was handed a key and told the truck was in the lot. I hand to go find which truck it was myself. I had to try the key to see if it was the right one.

The dolly I rented was not in the truck. Had to return to get it. Which wasted gas and miles. Online when registering I did not select coverage but was charge 14.99 for coverage when picking up the truck.

Service was extremely slow. There were two people working but the coordination was poor. Pricing was a lot more than advertised especially the $1 environmental and $10 Boston CCF. The dollar amount is not the issue, just the expectation on cost. I could have missed it when making the reservation but I just feel like it was a sneaky way to get more money from the customer (mandatory or not)

Make clear policy RE leaving personal vehicles during rental. Phone in advance said this was not allowed, friendly customer service person at time of rental asked "will you be leaving your car". If I had been able to secure alternative with your competition this issue would have cost you my business.

We tried to do the self pick up, but they had us picking up the wrong vehicle. If we hadn't of gone inside to clarify, we would have had the wrong truck.

I choose self service. Yet when I got to the facility my truck was not ready so I still had to stand in line which just wasted my time. Then when I'm explain to the representative that I had self service. He really didn't care and was like well it's not going to work because there are no trucks set up for that. When I first did my reservation I had already paid for mayoress covers but my reservation changed to a different location and I had to repay for the mattress covers, but I honestly do not have time to sit on the phone to try and get reimbursed for $3 and some change. If there's a different moving company out there I will be using that one next time instead of uhaul.

Ive used West roxbury location right signal was off and the person who is in charged told me that's the only car they have in their inventory in addition I've got a warning for that.

Have more people on staff. I had to wait approximately 10 minutes at 8am to be helped because there was only one person available. Then when dropping off the vehicle it was another 15 minute wait. The man working was very nice and helpful but he could only work so fast as one person. In addition, I was charged for 2 days instead of one when the vehicle was dropped off within the rented time frame. Waiting to hear back from customer service to have this fixed and hopefully it will be taken care of.

When we reserved the truck, if you don't have the same size truck, just told us and not downsize the truck automatically (not told the customer). Also the local customer services is terrible, they didn't want to solve the problem and don't care the customer's rental experience

I found it ridiculous that there is not any customer parking on UHaul property while renting. My rental was ready to leave and I was told that my car was parked in the wrong place, on UHaul property. As a customer I would think accommodations would be made. I was told that I was to go down an ally and park at a neighboring business and then walk back to UHaul and pick up my rental. There were no customers waiting in line and I was surprised at the lack of customer service offered to park my vehicle, it would have been helpful to have been followed in the rental. The rental was left running in a main driveway blocking other drivers. It seemed like this could have been handled better certainly with better service or communicated clearly regarding parking protocol.

Picking up a U-haul is like visiting a train station in a 3rd world country. I get the vibe that your IT systems haven't been updated since 1970 and your associates are working on those green computer screens. When I go online, I enter my name, credit card, tow vehicles, etc. Why on earth do I have to waste time exchanging this info again? I should give you a confirmation number, show ID, and walk out to the equipment.
