Tony was great at the Whittier location. I was in and out in minutes. As far as your Pico Rivera location you REALLY NEED to contact them and have a good talk with that manager regarding his employees. My reservation originally started at that location when I arrived before the closing time stated on the window the doors were closed and locked and I spoke to the employee standing at the counter that I was there for a pick up he ignored me until I asked a second time he then stated that they were closed. I then stated that cant be I had 7:55 on my clock and the TIME STATED ON THIER WINDOW WAS 8:00. He refused to help me and proceeded to the room in the back I waited outside so I could get his name which he refused to give after asking several times. When he came out after the second time I asked while on the phone with the U-Haul call center he gave it to me "Gabriel" or at least I hope that was his name. I have never been treated so rudely before and if pleasing your customers is NUMBER #1 than I'm sorry I wasn't getting it. I worked a national wholesale company in the past and ran their whole operation and not once did I ever refuse any customer who came in or called right when we were closing. I helped them even if I stayed after closing until they were done with what they came in for or called. Your customer service REALLY needs a great deal of EDUCATION ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. I talking about the PICO RIVERA LOCATION NOT THE WHITTIER ONE. Tony there was a true gentleman and should be recommended for it. remember your not the only moving company out there and there's Twitter n face book I will put my experience with you on there and let all I know not to use you in the future............. I look forward to hearing from you soon OR NOT....... Thank you Mr. Wheeler

I showed up to location on same day of rental to return my item and business was closed five minutes before posted closing time. I ended up having to pay for two additional day. Never again!

I arrived for a long drive under a tight schedule. The windshield is filthy and full of leaves and upon trying to start the car we found the battery to be dead. They used jumper cables to start the truck checked it out and assured us that all was OK . Drove 90 miles to pick up and truck died upon arrival. Had to call for roadside assistance, wait for 35 minutes to find the battery was dead. Had to wait a total of 2 hours. The crew I had hired to help us unload had to leave because we were late. I'm hoping that Uhaul will step up and offer some sort of discount for this inconvenience.

I'm a bit upset that I paid more than necessary. Turns out I didn't need to pay the extra insurance fee (my (most) insurance covers it already. This should be mentioned to customers, rather than suggesting or implying it as an obligation or necessity.

The whole process was easy and I appreciate that. The location and owner was great! very helpful and great demeanor. Only comment I have is that the truck was dirty on the driver side floor and bed of truck wet with leaves, kinda muddy, which I'm sure was due to weather but it would've been nice if that was cleared before my use.
