The employee who was assisting me was very rude in the beginning and very defensive towards us. I will never come back, this was my first time using u-haul and i'll go someplace different next time.

Returned truck after hours. I parked it and did online return but then there was no place to drop key. I had to return next morning and wait for them to open to hand off key which made me late for work.

I felt a little unwelcome as soon as I came through the door. The guy at the counter had an attitude, and didn't seem to care about my experience. On the other hand, when I dropped the truck off, the inspection crew was very nice and customer service oriented. The guy I was with said he had a very similar experience when he previously did business with this location.

The place was OK, but the overall UHaul experience was not all that great. I had to go WAY out of the way to get a trailer when I drive by one every day. That one was "unavailable" which was extremely frustrating.

Agent was excellent, both at pick-up and drop off. Friendly, well prepared, masked up. Truck was quickly brought to front entrance, easy in and easy out. It would be nice to have some parking available for personal cars for the day, while using the truck.

Making sure the U-Haul truck don't smell like cigarettes, making sure the truck is more cleaner, and newer. The U-Haul truck i rented got the job done and all but didn't really enjoy the truck as I expected. The truck looked real old and beat up out of shape

Ive rented several times through this location. I was severily frusturatrated when I was ignored as customer as a U-hual representative was busy clouting Pennys. Extremely pissed off!

I didn't like having to leave my personal vehicle on the street. The clerk who helped me was exceptional though.


I have so much to say... I'm gonna elect not to say anything, almost. It was the worst experience I've ever had, seriously. They told me on the phone, 3'ish hours. So I was going to wait. I cant do that, its gonna be 4-6 hours. So I had to spend $20 for uber to take me home. 8 hours later... I have to take another uber back, another $20. So I get there, hes not done, I wait another 1.5 hours... still cant get it done. THEN they wont let me use a u-haul to get home, cause the car is not together, another dude will do in the morning. I HAVE TO FRICKING RENT A TRUCK TO GET HOME! $36... I only live 5 miles away. So ADDITIONAL $76 direct cost my loss because of them, on top of $500 for the install, no discount, no sorry, no nothing!!!!!! 10 hours of down time for me and wasted $76. Im not rich... i am beyond pissed off, mad and cant believe I was treated the way I was.


Manager showed up 30 minutes late after open, so I didn't get in the store till 7:30, pushing back my moving plans. Then even after I called and said I'd be a little late coming back that day (since you pushed back my schedule) and the person on the phone said that's fine, the guy tried to charge me a late fee at when I brought it back maybe 20 or 30 min past when it was due. Terrible customer service

Although my wait was about an hour because the gentleman was the only one working, he provided excellent customer service by apologizing to me for the delay, checking back with me while I was waiting, listening to my concerns and expressing empathy as well.


First of all, the two gentleman who were working at the time are very poor representatives of U-haul. The African American gentleman seemed to be the supervisor. I found him to be charm free. I had come to this location before and he was commenting about how loud my music was. I heard him say, "that loud shit". I ask him what what he was saying and he responded that he was just talking to himself. I decided to go to the U-haul on Lincoln and Woodlawn. Anyway, yesterday his customer service skills and those of his co-worker were subpar to say the least. While he was processing my paperwork he told his subordinate to lock the damn door because, shit, people just keep coming in and he was ready to go. It was 15 minutes to 7:00. He also told his underling to do something l didn't quite understand, some kind of closing duty, I think. The young man responded that he did not give a FUCK!!! And repeated it again and again. As if this were acceptable language in front of me, a customer. I was both offended and taken aback by the manner in which the both of them conducted themselves, completely and totally. To make matters even worse, when I got ready to load my items onto the rental. I couldn't get the lock to open that secured the door on the back of the truck. So I returned the truck and was there when the store opened. The gentleman that open the store was about 10 minutes late and he informed me that it was special hours, for the elderly and the infirm, I assume. I told him I had no knowledge of that and I asked him if he would like me to return at 8:00. He said no, I told him that I was not able to use the truck because I couldn't get the lock to open. I really thought that it was the wrong lock for the key, but he was able to open it with ease. So I guess the fault with that lies with me. He told me that would still be charged, didn't think that was quite right, but I told him whatever, let's just get this over with. He, at least, was professional, though I do feel very strongly that I should not have been charged when all I did was drive it home, was not able to use it for the purpose for which I rented it. I feel as though I should be offered a discount or a voucher for another rental and I would like a response from whoever handles these matters. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

Order was cancelled, then was told they didn't have size of truck I requested so had to go with a smaller truck. Then reservation wasn't met so had to go into store 2 hours Later truck still wasn't ready. Got a $50 refund and then had to pay it back due to miles going over since I didn't have a big enough truck like I had requested.
