Charged for 2 gallons of gas. I returned the truck with over the amount that I picked it up.

The particular truck I was driving was not in good shape at all. The interior and outside were fine but the engine not so much. It jerked a lot and the ending seems to flutter and knock pretty hard. In addition it had a leak in the back of truck up towards the roof near the back compartment. It rained and about 5 of my boxes stored up there got pretty soaked but nothing of value. I didn’t say anything about the issues because it’s a moving truck and has seen it’s days and not a big deal. However I’m saying it now because I had to go back to the uhaul store here a week later to get a refund for the $20 gas charge I undeservingly received. Lucky for me I took a picture of odometer and gas upon my return and was able to get the clear discrepancy refunded to me. In 5 days of course.

Was told I could bring back unused boxes and the card I used to be bought back. The men at desk said not true.

I reserved a truck the day prior to move. I went to go pick it up after store hours. Found my truck based on the number the online app gave me. When I went to go put my info in, the whole reservation had been deleted. I sat for TWO HOURS on hold. Sometimes, the 1-800-UHAUL number would just hang up on me while I was on hold. When I found another location that was open, I found a truck to rent but could only have it for a few hours compared to the 24 hours I had made on the last one. I was given no break on price, just a “opps, sorry I guess” and wasted hours I could have spent moving. Beyond one gentleman at the Pawnee & Oliver Wichita location, this was a nightmare experience and the customer service is HORRIBLE. I will use a different company if I move in the future.

Rented a truck and dolly for pick up in eldorado, ks. But wasn't at that location but rather 30 miles away in Witcha. With no warning and I was called the day before to confirm the time for pick-up at the eldorado location. Seems like the left foot doesn't know what the right foot is doing at uhaul.

I was told that the gas gauge was at a quarter full, when it was actually pretty much on Empty. So not only did I have to put gas in immediately but I also had to return it with a lot more gas that it had when I got it or else I would of been charged $4 A gallon when in reality I should of been able to return it practically at empty like it was when I got it but instead I had to pay to make it a quarter full even though it wasn’t a quarter full when I got it. Also I drove all the way home and the dolly was not put in the truck. So I had to drive back 6 miles one way so a total of 12 extra miles which i got charged for because it is $1.09 a mile. So not only am I out the extra $18 I had to put in gas so I wouldn’t be charged $4 a gallon because the gas gauge was not where I was told it was I also had to pay $12 in miles that I had to drive to pick up the dolly that was never put in the truck. Other than the extra $18 in gas and $12 in miles I was happy with location and the reps and the truck but I should be reimbursed for that gas and the miles.

Make sure the drivers side mirror is fixed or replaced. I turned It in to the employee I checked out with. It was loose and would drop down where you couldn't see behind you when ever you hit a bump. I'm sure it would have been turned in before by a previous renter and didn't get fixed. I had to keep the window down when driving in heavy traffic and constantly move it back up over and over again. This could easily have cause a wreck with a less experienced driver.

I had a trailer on by the uhual on the east pawnee when it was put on I told the man putting it on that the chain was dragging the first time he fixed and and when I told him it was still dragging. The chain the broke while on the road I felt like I was close enough that I could make it with out them I had to drive under 40 mph until I made it to my destination. When I called to make a complaint the general manager didn't try to listen to anything I was saying instead he tried to brush off everything I was saying to try and avoid my problem
