Dear Sir/Madam, I had rented a truck at 7 pm on 9/19/2017. While the representative was very helpful he gave me a truck that had a broken headlight switch, see photos attached. When I reached my destination I tried to figure out how to close the headlights and couldn't figure it out for quite a while. I had to leave the engine running because I was afraid the headlights was going to drain the battery and I would then need a jump start! I lost time and money (gas) because of this not to mention I injured my fingers while wrestling with the broken switch trying to figure out whats its purpose. As a repeat customer this is the first time I have a complaint. I rent a truck at least once a month and have never had an issue with one of their vehicles but this time the truck I received had side mirrors that would NOT stay in place and it made driving very risky. Also had an extremely hard time removing the key from the ignition. At one point we just left it in the ignition as my husband couldn't even get it out. The steering wheel almost felt "loose" and the truck was hard to maneuver and was all over the road. Not a very pleasant experience which was surprising as I said their trucks are usually top notch.

This was not the size truck or location I requested, I had also reserved a furniture dolly and pads, neither of which were provided. On a positive note, the manager at the Wilmington location was very helpful and corrected as much as he could. Overall, the process of obtaining the truck was very time consuming, and there was an empty truck at the original location I had requested which was there the entire weekend. I believe that may have been the truck I was trying to reserve in the first place. Very frustrating

When we called on Saturday to confirm that time we had to be there for our 9am rental the women told us 845am. I said “ are you sure you want us there at 845am even though you don’t open until 9am” and she said yes be there early. When we arrived there were 3 people in line outside and only 1 guys working inside who opened the doors at 9am sharp. He was working alone because someone didn’t show up. He was very helpful and very nice and we felt bad that he was alone and that people were lined up at the door because customer service told us 845am.

I was told by trailer would be there waiting could pick it up anytime when I showed up for trailer was going available was told didn't know what time it would be back the guy had such an attitude I had made several calls to customer service got a rental had another U-Haul but was never compensated for my lost time and aggravation I will be using social media to let my friends know how bad of experience I had and never go there

Disgraceful that on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend only one employee was on duty. I didn't catch his name but he was great. Long lines were handled quite quickly. I was fortunate enough to make my reservation on line. Still I needed keys. He took care of me while handling others. Give the man a raise or a bonus!!!

Corporate and the actual Uhaul location told me 4 different times that I was able to pick up and drop off my Uhaul. The final time being that I needed to have it back by 8:30 in the morning, when my original reservation allowed me to drop it off at 1 pm. The lack of clear communication and consistency from the customer services representatives on the phone was absolutely infuriating.

There maybe a issue with the trailer. I think one of the tires is out of balance. I kept getting a weird vibration.

When someone has a reservation, be sure to have the truck reserved on site. I didn't get the truck I reserved. I had to take a smaller truck that required two trips to move my things. Thus paying for twice the mileage. I would not recommend this location.

they screwed up billing of my credit card by holding it for 4-5 day instead of just submitting it.. which was a bit of a chore to fix, but overall the people are nice, helpful, and the equipment was in Great condition... the credit thing was probably just a fluke, they happen.

I am very happy with my experience. This is at least the second time we rented from this location. I have one question about my bill. I drove on the Massachusetts turnpike and you will be receiving (or have already received) a bill for tolls charged to my rental van's license plate. How should I handle that bill? Should I pay you, or pay the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority directly? Thanks!
