Renting from Uhaul made our moving experience a nightmare overall. After having Uhaul change our reservation time four days before our scheduled move in, we had to rearrange our entire plan for moving apartments. Then, when we went to pick up the truck at our scheduled time, mobile check in was not functioning at this site as advertised. We had to call Uhaul customer service and stay on hold for almost 2 hours, only to be told that there was nothing they could do for us until the Wilmington office opened the next morning. Due to all of these errors on the part of Uhaul, we were unable to pick up our truck until 12 hours reservation but were still expected to return it at the scheduled return time. I’m genuinely disappointed that I was required to pay for my services at all after Uhaul caused such a fiasco with our move in. Will never use this company again.

Improve how workers follow company guidelines for return of vehicles. UHaul workers should complete vehicle return with customers during regular business hours. This did not occur causing an overcharge to final bill. Carelessness causing unnecessary time waste and hassle on customer's end.

I only picked in Wilmington after my reserved trailer in Lynn Ma was discovered to not have working lights. I was then promised a trailer in Salem Ma only to get ther and they not have one, after consulting area calendars, Salem reserved me a trailer in Saugus Ma. When I got there, I bet you can guess, yup, no trailers. Then I called corporate who found me the one in wilmington. This took 7 hours of me driving all over the county, a tank of gas, and a total destruction of my tightly planned schedule.

The location was well staffed and had lots of equipment & trucks. Unfortunately my 10 ft truck I needed I had to wait an hour for. A bit frustrating and probably the returners fault but have to take a few stars off nonetheless. The manager was nice about it and gave me a partial refund and free pads + dollys which I did appreciate.

Upgrade your computer system. It’s slow, doesn’t respond, and information had to be re-entered. The staff did their very best to assist customers quickly but were completely bogged down by their operating systems. Excellent customer service! I found every person I talked to willing to take time over the phone and in person to answer questions, make suggestions and troubleshoot. The owner even recommend another location because he couldn’t provide what I needed. The entire process was hassle-free and a pleasure. The owner/operators at the Wilmington and Woburn locations clearly enjoy and take pride in their work.

There was no option provided for me to checkout the truck. When i try to explain the official at the location he was not not able understand, he kept on pointing out that it works for everyone. So there was a heated conversation between us. He was clearly not ready to help. Being a issue on the uhaul website that did not show me an option to checkout and it just showed me my reservation is complete, is not my issue. If customers face such issues and reach to that specific official in that location, the official should have some knowledge that the customer had faced some technical issues and atleast he could have forwarded the call to the technical support team. He clearly lacked that and doesn't want to proceed.This will be my last ever usage of uhaul.

Stop price gouging on busy times of the year, if it is .79 cents a mile at slow times it should be .79 cents at busy times , not $ 1.09 ! This is price gouging and In any other business it is illegal ! I will be contacting investigative reporters .
