The clerk did not even ask to see my ID when I told her I was picking up a truck she just gave me a key and told me to pick out a dolly. My daughter came in and got the dolly and was never asked anything. For your benefit not mine.

There was very little room for parking and no way I could back in the 26ft truck. It's a tiny side gravel spot with concrete barriers on either side behind the store but it's the only one in this town.

Make sure you all clean the back of the trucks! Never in my life will I ever rent again from this location. As soon as I picked the truck up the bed was covered in roaches and I was not able to exchange the truck and I have killed 2 roaches already in my home! Disgusting

The directions for electronic check-in state to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for check-in and to pick up truck in time. When I tried, I got a message that I could not check in until my designated time. I left with my 9:00 pickup at 9:20. Please fix this.

It would have been helpful if a representative had been available at the time I returned the vehicle. The person at the counter took the keys but did not check the truck nor verify the mileage upon return. I had a question that could not be answered until Monday, two days after I returned it. I had called on the weekend but was told the person in needed to speak with was not available on weekends. Seemed strange that the office was not opened at a time when, I would think, many people would have use for a rental.

When I dropped the trailer off on 2-17-2020 at approximately 630 pm (15 and a half hours early) it was at a gas station and the staff had no knowledge of the uhaul business. The instructions for drop off were as clear as mud!! I received several texts the next morning reminding me it was due. I tried calling the number to the drop off business more times than I can remember and all I got was a message that the mailbox was full! I can honestly say this is The WORST Experience I've had in a long while!!!!! If I ever have the need for a uhaul again I Will Not use this business!!!

There was very little gas in it, took the girl 21 minutes of my time to get it so I could begin despite doing all the same things on line prior to going to the location. The windshield was cracked.

When my husband arrived at the Winchester location there was no one at the uhaul rental place. The people who ran the uhaul were not there. My husband, along with 8 others had to call their young daughter from the gas station next to the uhaul rental area. He had to give his credit card information over the phone to a child! Why? There was already one on file. The truck was blocked in. He had to move the other trucks HIMSELF. We also ordered a appliance dolly and it was not given to him. He had to drive to another location for that! When he returned the truck they tried to charge us for extra miles! The extra miles were because uhaul moved us to a different location! This location was so unprofessional and we expect a refund or a discount on the next truck we rent in a few weeks!


I had to do the check-in over the phone since the U-Haul guy wasn't even there. I really didn't understand why he wasn't there during business hours and no reason or apology was offered. After the 30 minute delay of getting him on the phone, he was very helpful and I got the truck quickly.
