There was a bad leak on the driver's side . Every time it rained, which as too often, water came down the seat belt and soaked the driver. Smith Appliance would not have known this. Very annoying and uncomfortable.

The person who made our reservation made it for the incorrect time and we were not able to get it through the app. We had to call and wait on hold for 30 minutes and the person on the phone had to change and walkthrough everything. The customer service person did a good job, it wasn't her error. In addition, we were suppose to pick up the UHaul at Redwood and was notified that day we had to drive 50 miles away to pick up the U-Haul so the entire experience to pick it up was three hours long. It was an extremely frustrating experience.

Was not the fault of the location; had reserved equipment, day before move was told it was not available, Bald tire on trailer, cab on 15 ft truck was so loose the sound of the wind was unbearable for the 8 hour trip. Transmission was not shifting well.

The check out was fine. But the man responsible for the car dolly should not be renting uhauls. He told me he did not know how to put my car in the dolly and that he had no insurance to put it on. He told me that if he did he would not be responsible for it. I know nothing about towing. I count on uhaul to have experienced people there to help. It was a scary experience to be responsible for putting my car on a dolly and knowing nothing about it. This was just wrong. I do not recommend this place unless you know how to work dollies and hitches.

I had a car tow trailer and they wouldn't help disconnect the chains or wheel straps. I had no idea or strength to undo the chains or straps.

We were told by the White Bear Ave location our deposit would be refunded at the time of drop off. They drop off said no it would be mailed to us. The deposit is $100.00 that I don't have and now I am being forced to wait for it to be mailed back to me. I just spent thousands of dollars moving. Not very happy.

Hours of operation. We didn't actually need the Uhaul until Sunday, but had to pick it up on Saturday because the location isn't open on Sunday. This resulted in us having to pay for an extra day.

The trailer I reserved was not ready/available at the location I requested. Had to go to another location further away to get it. That was a bit of a hassle because I was on a very tight schedule handling a family matter. However U-Haul notified me of this with enough advance notice that I was able to move my schedule around to go to the new location. Not a big problem overall, but it would have been nice to pick the trailer up at the location I reserved it at.

Be sure to order on line so they have it there ahead of time. They were ready for us.

The person that signed out my truck was not properly trained on how to check me out. It was figured out by phone, causing delay. Also it took extra time to clear windshield of ice and snow, it would have been nice if truck could have been somewhat warmed up to cause less delays. A qualified U-Haul person should have been on site.
