It would be great to have the option to return the truck to a different location. I spent a lot of additional driving time to access a truck and return it again when I was only a km away from another location.

I tried calling the store to get information and had a very difficult time getting ahold of anyone. I don't think this is the fault of the staff but it is the fault of UHaul for cutting back on enough staff to deal with issues. Otherwise, happy with the service.

When we first got there, we had to wait as they boosted the truck (apparently lights were left on). The transmission wasn't shifting properly which causes vehicle to use excessive amounts of fuel and the truck we used pulls to the right when driving.

The truck ran pretty well, just thought the 10-speed transmission was pretty odd. It kept downshifting and upshifting the whole time plus the engine would stop and restart constantly. Except for that everything else was fine.

The interior of the rental van was filthy, I asked for a truck with a 6’2” opening from floor to top of door frame, was not given one. Truck had no ramp for loading or unloading.

They could not find the trailer I had reserved. Then tried saying it must have been stolen, then tried to get me to go to another location to pick one up. I said I could not do that it was way to inconvenient for me, that's why I booked ahead of time. After looking around. I was there for 45mins before they found the trailer I needed around the corner of their shop. I returned the trailer the same night. The next morning when my actual return time was, I received a text saying my rental is due. I went to the store to rebook the trailer for another day and make sure my return was processed and they did not process it yet. All in all it was a very stressful situation and the staff had no clue what was going on.

We had to take the dolly that we rented ourselves. There was garbage under the van seats. The rear passenger tire blew out and we lost an hour and a half of our evening waiting for a change. Not a great experience overall.

Uhaul cancelled my reservation 3 days prior to my move - so I had to rent a truck from Minot ND. This meant I had to hire someone to pick it up for me since it was alot further away than my original reservation location. In addition to it costing me an extra $250 to hire someone, I was charged in US funds instead of Canadian Funds. Fortunately Uhaul recognized their error and sent a check. What is unfortunate is that Uhaul wrote the check to the fellow who I hired. They sent the check to me, verified the charges were made to MY Visa credit card, see it is my email and phone number on the contract, but refuse to write the check to me. In addition, if this was not my contract, how could I get into this account and leave a review? PLEASE write the check made out to me and send it to me, as I was the one who paid the bill. Please let this experience end on a positive note.

I live in Westwood and arranged a truck from your Century St location and I required to pick up the truck in Transcona . If I would be advised of that I would have other arrangements. It wasted 2 hours of my time plus the aggravation, NOT HAPPY would be my experience. A Hamilton
