They had the best customer service in this uhaul location.. from the moment I made a reservation to the day I moved out of my storage unit everyone I have encountered at the counter was excellent!! They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! Big thanks to the whole front counter Team!! I Appreciate your hard work!

I had a very disappointing experience with this U-Haul storage location. When I arrived to rent my unit, one employee told us that if the assigned unit had a lock on it, we could keep it—even though we had no keys for that lock. Another employee then moved us to a larger unit without asking if we agreed, which resulted in a higher monthly cost. We were also required to purchase a new lock for $30. When we got to the new unit, the latch wouldn't open. My boyfriend walked back to the office for help but was only given verbal instructions, which didn't solve the problem. I then returned to the office and had to insist that someone come assist us. Instead of helping, one employee sent me across the parking lot to find the other employee because they were short-staffed. Only then was someone able to open the latch. A month later, I decided not to continue renting because the monthly charge was $211, which I had never agreed to. When I went to empty the unit on August 3, my key would not open the lock. Staff informed me that the only person who could cut it wasn't available until the following afternoon. Since my payment was due on August 5, this unnecessary delay was extremely frustrating. Overall, this was the worst storage rental experience I've had. I've used storage units several times over the years while moving, and I've never experienced so many issues from start to finish.

They were professional, friendly and very, very helpful, especially to an older woman like myself who was having some difficulty sorting and lifting heavy boxes. They never showed annoyance or impatience and I was so appreciative. I could not have done this by myself. They are all to be commended, and my thanks to everyone at the Center.
JEANNE T | Overall ExperienceThe first month free, then 2 months at 50% was very frustrating. Although the code was sent, I never received it. I made my 50% payment in person but kept getting late payment emails. I made many trips to the U-Haul location but it continued. I did not appreciate the threat of a lien when I had paid my 50% already. The workers were very accommodating but seemed limited to the changes they could make. Overall, the system for renting storage and U-boxes seemed very outdated and time consuming. I should not have needed to make as many trips to the office as I did.

There is an active infestation of mice that staff are unable to manage appropriately thus creating a huge safety concern to customers. I had to let go of my bed frame because it was full of mice droppings. I would recommend U-HAUL have this mice infestation managed by a professional exterminators. UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT RECOMMEND 827061 U-HAUL.

Muriel C | Overall ExperienceI had to move out due to an infestation of mice. Apparently a unit near mind was housing food and mice came in. They migrated and spread there excrement through my storage unit. As my storage unit was for work items. Hockey equipment and signage. I was forced to throw around around 10k of product from the unit as it had lots of dropping all over it. When I brought this to the attention of the workers. They provided no ppe or cleaning products and I was forced to clean the unit myself. When I used the uhaul garbage I found workers sifting through the items I had to throw away because of mice droppings in the actual garbage dumpster. After I cleaned up the unit and moved everything to plastic toates 3 days later there was mice droppings again in the unit. Again no ppe was provided and I used duct take to collect the droppings. I left it all on the out side of the unit and let the manager know there were droppings outside the unit. I returned 2 days later and the duct tape with mice droppings was still outside the unit and more mice droppings. When I brought this up to a team member and made clear that hantavirus is a major issue right now he laughed. 3 days later I decided it was time to move out of the unit. I’ll be contacting Manitoba’s health board to make them aware of the move problem this location has and the unacceptable responses your team provided.
