all my previous experiences w U Haul were awesome except this last one. I believe it was misunderstandings but the manager that dealt with me the very last was helpful but it was spiteful . I had asked 3 different people about paying for the UHAUL . Do I pay upfront for the vehicle or end of move. All said end of move. The day I show up to get the van, I had to pay up front which was a problem - only because I had money waiting for me at my destination . If your ' in town ' you pay end of rental, out of town you pay before hand. When I picked up the van , I was upset and told them so .My contention is you guys are reading the contract, why did 3 people not catch I was going " out of town " . I felt that this was like holding me ransome on a Friday night. Where else would I have gone. Although the manager gave us an extra day , 200 miles and thru in a dolly, his very last action was immature.When I picked up the VAN Friday evening we were going to load up the van at 7 30 pm . He said I couldn't because they were closed I had been renting a 10X5 unit for 5mths which I had access 24/7 I asked again , can we load tonight ? He said WE ARE CLOSED . When I returned in the morning, same manager, I couldn't get in the compound - with the smuggest face and smirk I ever saw , He said you use your access card to get in after hours, not needed for day time . YEP the night before same guy says you can't load your van tonight, SHow up next morning same guy says yeah you have access. So although the manager gave us perks, he took it away by being spiteful , shallow and it cost me a night at a hotel cuz by not loading Friday night cost me a lot of time Saturday . It s sad when franchises do not offer the same customer experience all over. Not happy but like so many other services , your the onlyw We got no choice , take it or leave it . Quite frankly , your ginger headed manager made it very clear, take it or leave it . !

truck was ridiculously overpriced and the employee gave me the wrong price then laughed when he corrected it and it was twice what is first onvoice stated. I may have paid the right price but there is no way I received value for what I had to pay and the employee should have honored his first invoice or at least discounted the second one when he realized his error. he even said well that was better well at least not for us but I guess not for you, when he presented to corrected invoice. We were overcharged and my frustraion was not respeced

The website is confusing with US currency and the easy check-in stuck me in a loop that I couldn't get out of. However, when I got to the location, all seemed to be well.

I wasn't told when making my reservation that a $100 deposit was required - and that it had to be on a credit card. When I went to pick up the vehicle, I had to phone a friend to come do the deposit, which delayed my pick up time. So, I would suggest that customer service tells people this when making reservations. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Inform customers of what kind electrical connections are needed and what size of ball hitch and make mention that you sell them on site. I was prepared but nothing was said to me at any point about what would be needed. The box I checked for level of insurance wasn't what the dealer tried to charge. They tried to charge a level higher. That didn't look like a mistake. Nobody present when I dropped off the trailer. Or a signed drop off area. Preferably with gravel or pavement. The lot was black dirt and mud.



I bought a mattress bag from you guys and it ripped almost immediately. What a waste of 30$. Then they salesman told me for sure the van would fit a queen size mattress. I said it's a double thick and he assured me it would fit. What a tight squeeze and getting it out was a heck of a battle. I was so disappointed.

Make the U-hauls clean when people pick them up. Just don't tell them to initial in the 2 places that they are clean and not damaged without going over it with them just to get them out the door. I picked up a brownish grey looking trailer in Winnipeg because of the winter roads and when I got to Lethbridge suddenly I had to have the trailer spotless on the outside because i initialed it was clean when I picked it up.

the vehicle I received was dirty. the outside had ice on the running boards to the point they were dangerous and the inside had coffee spills all over the middle arm rest. I had to get supplies and clean it myself. Very poor.

Ensure the vehicles are clean. The truck I rented was not at 1/2 tank. However I was well looked after.



Outstanding service!. I was greeted when I arrived and out the door driving in less than 5 minutes. When I arrived back I was promptly attended to and was on my way in 5 minutes. Couldn't ask for better
