This is not to say what could be better. The employed went above and beyond to make things work. There were technical issues with the rental process and he made every effort to bake it work. And was very pleasant throughout the whole thing.

All of the above were okay but the representative were very unprofessional.


- Took forever - Asked for three names and numbers - no need... you're just going to sell that info to advertisers - pain in the butt - won't ever use that location again and seriously considering never using U-Haul again. Might be worth buying a truck.

There was miscommunication between the individual behind the counter on the day I picked up the truck, he informed me I had 24hrs to use the truck so when I brought it back the rental fee was double what it was shown to be. I did speak with his supervisor and due to the miscommunication, I was given it at the rental price of $19.95. I apologize but the gentleman that assisted me was very hard to understand and when he asked me to submit my drivers online I did and then he made me give it to him manually and it wasted a lot of time. Whatever I did online I feel like I had to redo over with the guy behind the counter. I dont know why he didn't just save me the time and so it manually in the first place. It was a bit frustrating.

Why was I charged over 70 dollars when i paid at store and bill is 67. He also took a picture of my Mastercard with no explanation. Checkin until 45 minutes. Check put as long. Horrible place. Shut them down

Extremely poor customer service. Waited over half a hour for my truck which was reserved and ready for pick up all done on line on the U- Haul website.

I fetched my rental van and proceeded with the online checklist. I verified and took a photo of the fuel level which was below the 1/2 fuel gauge thru the app and went on with my business. Upon returning the vehicle i fueled it closest to 1/2 fuel but the system was charging for fuel. The Uhaul guy suggested that i top it up to avoid extra charges so i obligued. I feel very disappointed because of the time and money wasted. Had the truck been fueled to the right level before it was dispatched, i believe this incident would have been avoided. I believe the $25 dollar i paid for fuel is too much and unfair since the van was not even fueled to right level, which was verified thru the app.

I reserved a truck at the Inkster location and the day of the rental the pick up location was changed twice before noon forcing me to pick up the truck 20 mins away (instead of the 5 mins it should have been). This put me behind my schedule and the customer service when I returned the vehicle at the Inkster location was very poor.

The cashier didn't know what he was doing. I spent almost 45 minutes to get everything sorted to leave. I got there at 3:20 and the location wasn't busy and I didn't leave until after 4. And my pick up time was for 3:30. The guy setting it up did not know what I was supposed to do to return it after hours. And I was supposed to get furniture pads with the U-Haul rental and didn't get those. We also spent 6 minutes arguing about the price per KM because he kept telling me that it was over a dollar a km which was actually the mile price and he didn't realize. It was just a huge mess. Someone needs to go in there and train him on what to do because it was a huge waste of time for me.

The convenience store I picked this up from was terrible. The website said I could pick up at 7pm with the app. The app didn't work. The website too said I could drop off at 11pm. The lady at the store said they couldn't do that. We had to take the truck all the way back home and drop it off at 8am Instead. We had to put extra miles in and our bill ended up being more expensive because your website wasn't accurate and your mobile app didn't work at all.

However the customer representative didn't told me about non insurance of vehical damage and they did not gave insurance at the store also and I requested them that while booking representative did not told me now take ur charges n give me insurance but they refused and asked to cancel booking first pay ?? 20 cancellations charges and book again Huge risk to take rental from UHAUL I REGRET Y IVE TAKEN FROM THEM

When I have to stand around and wait while she serves customers when I was the first person there, then to complain she's the only person working is unacceptable!! Plus there is no drop off box
