When I rented the truck over a month ago, it said I could have the truck up to 8 hours, but day of they said they needed it back by 2pm, because they rented it out. As you know moving can be stressful as it, I didn’t really appreciate U-Haul calling me, pressuring me to have the truck back my a certain time, in the middle of the move.

The manager at the location was excellent. She took care of me well and with a very positive attitude. With that said, my experience prior to working with her was negative. The truck was old, reeked of cigarette smoke and was not sweeped out. It had clearly not been cleaned at all. The wrong truck was issued. My paperwork was for a different truck, with different mileage and and gas level, which caused a lot of concern when returning. The manager sorted it out and took care of me.

The associate had an attitude at first when I asked why I was charged for an extra day. She said I didn’t return the truck at 10am. I explained that a representative from U-Haul (maybe from the call center) asked if I would be returning the vehicle at 10am and I explained that my original reservation return time online was 5pm. The phone representative advised that I could return it @ 3pm at no additional charge. The girl insisted that no one from her store said that and it seemed as if she didn’t believe me. Eventually she looked at the reservation and noticed I didn’t sign in the system and she refunded the $46. I’m glad she was able to correct the issue.

Very helpful staff. The facility needs some upgrades. The truck rattled more than Uhaul trucks in the past. The temp gauge on the truck stopped working half way through the trip. The parking lot out back needs lighting, as it is it is not safe for staff or clients.

The woman that was working behind the counter was unfriendly and made my visit uncomfortable. She looked and acted as if she didn't want to be there and was unpleasant. However the gentleman that was working there was VERY friendly and helpful. I probably will NOT come back to that location.

The manager hooked a trailer to the truck that had not been inspected in 3 weeks, the trailer didn't have brakes and it was damage. It also wasn't assigned to my contract.

I really didn't enjoy the self check out. I ended up waiting in line three separate times to complete one transaction. I also felt like I was doing the work. When I rented a box truck at this same location in September, it took ten minutes to get the truck and leave. This time it took close to twenty-five.

Dana Cline was not very helpful. I did not like her attitude or willingness to help me with questions I had. The only reason I would use this location again would be because I live in this town but to avoid it, I would probably use another company.

I reserved a pickup truck but had to take a van instead. I did the express check in but it still took 20 minutes picking up the vehicle. I reserved a utility dolly but it was not in the vehicle. I had to go find the vehicle in the lot. The moved helpers (Amazing Movers) that U-haul set up for me were terrible. They were 3 hours late, did not communicate, and did very little in helping resolve the problem.
