We had a problem with the ramps on the car hauler I rented. Call for assistance. I was put on hold which gave me and option menu. Selected road side assistance. That lady also put me on hold where a got the option menu again. Each person asked for my contract number and what the problem was. They were all very nice but no one really helped after about 45 minutes of hold and phone tag we figured it out ourselves.



honestly the guy at the store who helped me was amazing....very knowledgeable and precise. Didnt feel like I wasted time, and he even educated me on a few things regarding the truck. I have used uHaul before, and never been treated so professionally and friendly at the same time. Note that I rarely give reviews. Wish I remembered his name, but for sure I will return to the same location if needed, and just because of how nice I was treated. Thank you rep at Uhaul Winter Park Location

The vehicle needed to be washed. The windows were dirty(inside and out) and I had to stop and purchase materials to clean them.

I filled everything out on-line prior to coming in for pick up, including prepaying. I do not understand why I had to go through the entire contract process again once at the U Haul location. What is the point of doing everything in advance, including giving a specific time for pickup, when no one was even slightly prepared when I arrived ? Once re-doing everything, I had to wait another 10 minutes while they found the right trailer and moved other things out of the way so that I could get to it. The paperwork and trailer should have been ready to go when I arrived.

Our tow dolly was not at the location when we went to pick it up. We attempted to get the auto transport instead, but the employee, Tyler Lose, did not know how to properly attach the auto transport trailer. We drove my car on the trailer and the trailer flipped up because he did not know what he was doing. He ended up telling us he knew nothing about how to attach anything to the uhaul trucks and he did not want us to take a chance of losing our car. He didn’t have anyone else there who could assist us. He did not know how to find equipment at other locations. He had trouble even pulling up our reservation. He stated he had not received adequate training. This is completely unacceptable, not to mention dangerous. Please have someone contact me about this incident. It set us back 2 days and we had to drive half way across the country. It was a complete disaster, and we will not be using uhaul again, as both the employees and customer representatives either had no help to give or gave us wrong answers. I was charged twice for my auto transport as well, which I will be disputing.
