There was a miss communication about the location of truck pick up, in the confirmation email I was sent a different location and had to run to another location for picking the truck. Do get back to me on this

This was a terrible experience with Uhaul. I had a guaranteed reservation for 6 am at this location for a 20' truck. When I arrived there was no truck there and online pick up told me I had to wait until 7:30 to pick up my truck. Spoke with multiple customer service representatives who all had no answers and it turned out there would be no truck at all. I ended up having to drive another 45 minutes to pick up a smaller truck at 9:00 am which did not have the equipment I had ordered with the previous truck. This cost me time and money which I have not been compensated for. I still have not heard back from management regarding my complaint.

The app is horrible. It is confusing to navigate and the drop off feature did not save and upload any pictures, so it was impossible to drop off the truck. The website had the same issue. I was on an android 11 phone.
I ended up having to wait two hours to have a fuse replaced during my limited 1 day rental. The left turn signal did not work. The equipment should have been verified before my trip. Because the move-in times were set and unchangeable, this delay in the morning meant frustration and limited out ability to move smoothly.
The owner was very knowledgable and made sure that we understood all of the rules. He also had a great attitude!

24/7 pickup is a good idea, worked well once I knew that I should be on the app and not on the website. Also there was a discrepancy with the gas level. This took longer to bring back the vehicle when dropping off.
Dear U-Haul Team, After my experience with U-Haul, I decided to dedicate some of my time to inform you of a serious issue with the U-Haul app and website. Due to this issue, I risked to not to be able to pick up the truck I had reserved last Sunday (U-Haul Contract 88858535). If I was not an IT Technician, I could not find a solution, jeopardizing my move to the new place. Other people might be getting (and might in the future) into big troubles due to this issue. 1) U-Haul website bug:If the "pick up my truck" process is started in the web browser on an Android cellphone (I do not know about Apple iPhones), it is impossible to proceed beyond "Step 2", the mileage calculator. Whether the user enters the estimated mileage manually or uses the calculator, there is absolutely no way to continue to the next step. The "continue" button does not work. Also, the mileage calculator does not truly "fill" the miles cell. The "continue" button does not work even if one enters the miles manually.The U-Haul operator on the phone told me to use the app rather than the browser. I installed the app and continued the process there. The app was able to complete the mileage calculator step and to proceed to the next step. 2) U-Haul app bug:A more difficult bug affects the app. I must say, I use a Samsung Galaxy S9 Android phone, therefore a very popular and main Android cellphone, also of high quality.The app is totally unable to truly upload pictures.When I got to the point that I had to upload the picture of myself, it did not matter how many times I photographed myself. After taking the photograph and clicking on OK, the app did not 'upload' the photo and it was impossible to proceed to the subsequent photo (the picture of the driving license).I also tried changing the settings of my phone camera, trying all the available settings of size, resolution, and quality, but the problem was still there. No way to upload the photo, impossible to proceed ahead.After numerous attempt going back and then there again, the app finally uploaded 1 picture, the first one, that of my face. But it was not possible to upload the first picture of the driving license (front side). Therefore, also it was impossible to upload the back side of it.Even the U-Haul operator on the phone, despite a long waiting, was unable to solve the problem.Because I am an IT technician, I have a problem-solving mindset for computer issues. So, I solved this problem by going again into the web browser and continuing the process there. In this case, the browser worked while the app did not. In the browser, the picture-uploading process worked and I was able to upload the pictures and to finally pick-up my truck.An average person would not have thought of switching from the app to the browser, and would have not been able to pick-up the truck. The picture-upload defect also occurred 2 days after when I returned the truck. The app asked me to take pictures of the dashboard and of the inside and outsid
They forgot my furniture pad. Truck was same as junky's truck. Online check in was hell. I had to move my stuff without furniture pads because of your guy messed up. The way truck was dirty I don't think they did disinfect the truck the way U-Haul have or advertise. West of money. Would not suggest U-Haul to anyone.
Excellent costumer service
I was charged for a dolly that was not there, and when I reported that in the app, you just went ahead and charged me anyway. The online check-in process was far too long.
There were charges of which I was not informed of before renting the van. Misleading and incomplete information leads to poor customer service. I will never rent again from this company.
