They did not come out and inspect the truck. Took advantage of my girlfriend by saying the tank was full of fuel when it clearly was not. I I put 9 gallons of fuel to drive 8 miles
When ordering the truck we ordered an appliance dolly and a dozen moving blankets which were not in the truck when we picked it up at 7 am. The store was closed at the time so we could not get our equipment for our move. It was a bit frustrating. Moving days are already stressful, this added that much more stress. They credited our bill which was good.
Wasted 30 minutes in the beginning. They gave me keys to wrong vehicle. Had to wait while they went in the back to get the correct vehicle. Other than that service was fine

Staff didn't wear face covering correctly. Didn't cover nose, and took off the covering while in the vehicle. Vehicle has trash inside.
We didn't receive the correct size trailer. It was a good experience but maybe a little more attention and communication to changes.
I think the only thing that can be improved in that specific location would be to have a more conomy than perhaps a sprinter van or something that's a little bit better fuel economy for the small jobs the run around town type of jobs that may be necessary for small projects homeowners honey do list things

The pick up process was extremely long. Longer than my last 4 U-Haul rentals combined. They have a mobile device (possibility there own person Mobile phone) Which is lagging, crashing and not operating. Then they have to use the computer while using the mobile device. What's the point of the mobile device?
The assistant in this location is terrible.
I booked on line to speed the process but it was as if I started fresh. Very slow
I had charges that I had a legitimate grievance against and filed a complaint, but never heard from anyone. Very disappointing.

The staff was great - above & beyond helpful. Not very experienced with loading the 2-wheel dolly. Dolly lights did not work - damage to one tire.
Location changed by reservation from 7:30am to 8:00am WITHOUT notifying me, saying that they do that for all reservations to align with their store's open time. However, I had movers scheduled at my house at 8:30am, and this became a problem. Additionally, I had already checked-in online, but when they changed the reservation, I had to waste more time checking-in again with my driver's license and credit card. The computer showed the gas gauge as being more full than it really was, so I had to get a manager to fix it. And then the truck wasn't cleaned, so I had to wait for them to do that as well. At the VERY minimum, I would have appreciated a phone call about the change of reservation time since I was paying movers by the hour!
Make sure they clean the cab and the bed of the truck of anything left behind. Also review they process of holding payment. You charge my Dept card 156.00 which is still pending after 2 weeks needs to be reversed and credited back. The total once returned was 203.00 which cleared. I've email the store and heard nothing.
There are a lot of steps to the app based rental pick up and return, maybe that could be simplified. This locations key return box was difficult to find. The app said it would be near the main entrance, I finally found it in a dark corner at the other end of the building. Not the main entrance.
Unexpected fees that were never discussed.
