The first truck I was assigned was dirty and didn’t run well. They swapped it out for another one that was in better shape but hadn’t been swept out. After keeping the truck less than 4 hours and driving less than 1 mile, instead of being charged the $44 estimated amount I was charged three times that amount.

The staff at True Value were excellent and very helpful. One area that could be improved—unrelated to the people involved—is the separation between the supply purchase location and the truck pickup location. The app didn’t clearly indicate that these were in different parts of town, and it wasn’t obvious that I would need to travel to one location for supplies and another to pick up the truck. This confusion was frustrating, and I can easily see how others could make the same mistake. A clearer alert or distinction in the app noting that the pickup locations are different would be very helpful.
