I rented the uhaul under the assumptions that it was clear that I could drop the U-Haul off at any U-Haul location. On my contract in Savannah the representative checked off UNSURE on the contract, for drop off location. Which meant, I could drop it off anywhere. I was allowed 2 days with the rental, I dropped it off the same day, I did not need 2.days. I drop it off, took pictures. On my pictures, it automatically has date and time stamp. I forward this to U-Haul. The place I dropped it off at was closed, but I have dropped it off at closed places before. The return app, would not allowe.to download pictures, I kept getting errors, so I emailed the pictures to customer service twice. No response!!! So 3.days later I get a charge on my credit card, because the place I left it at, did not check it in til 3 days after I dropped it off. I even spoke to a U-Haul customer service twice and they said, ok we noted your account so you won't get a late fee, due to uncontrollably circumstances. I still got charge 183.00. I am still waiting for customer service to get back to me. Plus I left a copy of my contract in the glove box of the truck, with my information and they can see drop off location UNSURE WAS CHECKED. Still no reply...if I take this to small.claims.court I will win, because my photos are date stamped and I just might do this because it's causing me emotional distress, which will be a bigger lawsuit.VERONICA M.

The crotchety guy that owned the place was rude and not helpful. All he did was complain about U-Haul and how they kept sending him people to drop off equipment that he didn't need. He didn't offer me a receipt and said "If you were told to drop it here, then they would send you a electronic receipt. Although I returned the trailer 4 days before it was due, I got a call from U-Haul 10 days later asking me if I had returned the trailer. I said I had returned it far ahead of schedule. I was told that they would call the owner and tell him to get the trailer "checked in". I wished them good luck because the guy refused to answer the phone - even though he was there. Terrible service at both ends!! I have rented a lot of equipment over the years and have never had an experience like this! If I could give U-Haul a zero or negative rating I would.howard J.
This location is very run down. The operator has very limited computer skills. The fuel gauge was read incorrectly causing an extreme overcharge. U-Haul corrected this for me so I am satisfied with them but not the location.jack D.
