Wrong size truck that reserved

The truck looked clean but had an awful odor, it smelled like stale smoke, cheap air freshener and mildew. When returning the truck I was charged extra for fuel despite bringing it back with the same amount as when I took the truck. The paperwork listed the amount at just under 1/2 tank when the truck actually had just over 1/4 tank when I took it. I admittedly did not verify the paperwork before I left, but I trusted U-Haul to be accurate/honest with their records. Also, the customer service could be friendlier both inside and out. Nobody is rude, but not very outgoing.

Had the size truck we needed and we were able to reserve one and finish moving withing 3 hours.



I was over charged for a rental I made. I called to try and get it corrected because I work through the week yet no one answered from the store and customer care was no help. She simply read the receipt to me and told me to wait up to 5 business days to see if a credit appears. I usual never have issues with this location so I'm not sure what happened this time.

Am very upset as I was told I would receive a 50.00 refund because the trailer was gaurenteed to be at my location. Now nobody can find the information,and I was then told that if it did go thru,it would only be a 50.00 off next rental. So much for personal service! Next time I’ll go to budget!

The self check-in is not useful enough to be a value. It is cumbersome. There are rarely too many people in line to save time. Even if there were, I have to interrupt someone being serviced to get my key, which requires showing my phone and code to the clerk. Rude. I suggest a more stringent vetting process to become a "preferred" self check-in customer that bypasses the current screening/approval process and allows the preferred customer to do a 1 or 2 click check-in.

I think when a person comes in and really don't know how far that they're really going I think they should have a map or something to help you with your mileage to tell you how far you are going if you give them the address to where they going and coming from and some kind of monitor to put on the gas tank door on the outside so you will know how much you are putting in to make sure you don't go over or put Less in.



I wasn't too happy with paying to refuel the gas tank. Also, next time when a customer is returning the vehicle, there should be given some sort of sense of urgency to avoid your customer standing in the rain!

I called in morning to the location i left a pair of glasses on the dash and gave equipment number and its still on lot and no one would check or go look to see she said i have to come up there and right then i couldn't so she was very rude the woman that answered this morning at 745 a.m i will not use this uhaul place again! I just want my glasses back!

The truck was clean, however, the lock provided did not work and was a regular padlock with a cheap chain that could easily be cut.

One male there has an attitude, treats any question like an interruption. another male was being walked through, slowly, how to do a rental while I was on a tight deadline during a household move. Not appreciated. Do training during off peak times not 9 in the morning on a Friday. Deal with the women there much better attitude, helpful, they care.
