Provide the ability to remove equipment from the truck. Requiring us to have a hand truck and pads on the wall greatly reduces the amount of space you have to pack the truck. This location said Uhaul requires them to keep the equipment in the truck and they can't remove them for the customer. This is absurd because you lose quite of a bit of packing space due to Uhaul equipment being in the way.

Alan FThe building was hard to find! Too far away from parked trucks. Took a good bit to locate the key. THEN…things just got worse. I was given a 26’ truck with a rotted tire on the dual axle that ALSO had a rotted stem. Luckily it was found before leaving Yukon, OK, to travel over 2 hrs away! BUT, when I called in the repair and was told I would be contacted shortly by a repairman. Well that took 30 mins of my time waiting for them to contact me. Then was told a mechanic would be there 1.5hrs later. The 1.5hrs rolled by and no one showed. Called in and was told the job was marked completed! No one ever came! So another mechanic was dispatched who did show in 20 minutes but it took over an hour for repairs! I had hired movers yesterday to help me so I was out a lot of money for all the time wasted waiting for repairs all because West Pointe UHaul failed to inspect the truck well before renting back out to an elderly woman! Extremely upset! Will talk to anyone at UHaul about this if you want!!! I would like compensation from UHaul for all the time and money I was out on movers because of this!!! At this point idk if I’ll ever use UHaul again unless I receive fair compensation.
