I called on Tuesday asking to rent a smaller truck the next morning, but when my husband went, the only truck was a 20' one. We were on a time schedule and had no choice. Paid $20 more, plus 20 cents a mile for for 60 some miles. NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT.
The clerk at the Sunoco gas station was very helpful. Since I have never driven a truck before, she helped by backing it up and turning it around for me in their lot. Iâ€™m am extremely grateful and she did it all in horrible snow conditions.
The notification was nice that things had changed. Location to me was better than the original. People with uhaul were very accomodating. This was not the first time I have used uhaul before and will use them again if need be. Very pleased.
Poor communication. Truck was not available for 24 rental and we were not informed prior to arrival. Other vehicle was available but not offered. Charged late charge for YOUR mistake. Never again.
a bit disorganized and rude
The truck had damage on the passenger side, big gash but was issued to us anyway. The original pick up and drop off locations were changed which was very inconvenient and frustrating.
I had to wait on U-Haul to pick up the truck. The owner of the Sunoco was very nice. She had to call U-Haul while I waited 15 minutes. Truck was in the lot ready to go, but U-Haul's system wasn't.
When I made the reservation, I requested to have the UHaul dropped off at this location since if ti only a few minutes from our final destination. Per the contract, we didn't have to drop off the truck until before 8:00AM on 06/23/19. My to my surprise, I was driving on the way home (after being on the road for 9 hours) and received a call from a UHaul dealership in Butler PA. He wanted to know when we were dropping off the UHaul and wanted to know if we could drop it off at his facility since he has the truck rented out again instead of in Zelienople. I was shocked and pissed!! For starters, we can per the contract keep the UHaul for 24 hours. And two, why would I drive 20 additional miles out of my way to drop off the truck when that was not in my reservation? I thought that was very unprofessional of the gentleman to contact us as a customer to "help" him out. It is not our problem, that the truck was overbooked. He did say that he would waive the miles restriction, but that is still unacceptable. We ended up returning the truck to the original location in Zelienople and that gentleman was also very accommodating. We have rented UHaul's in the past and have never had these problems. From making the reservation to dropping off the truck - this entire process was very frustrating . It makes me really wonder if I would need another rental truck in the future, if I would choose this company. Seems to me that there should be more training in customer service satisfaction. I guess this company does not have that at their top priority.
She was very helpful. I told her my experience and showed sympathy and told me to call uhaul. I left the metal pieces and the grinding wheels in there in case someone wanted them back.
Truck was dirty and I was given the wrong truck. I had to go back and switch to one on my paperwork
Better signage for U-Haul returns. Wasn't sure I was in the right place at first.
Wasnt bad, they are open great hours for sure. There is only 1 person and they cannot leave the building so you have to unhook the trailer solo. I am a fit military guy in my 30s so not an issue for me. Others might have had problems lifting the tongue of a 6X12.
This was my First time to rent a U-Haul vehicle, everyone was helpful and the truck was ready to go. We loaded the truck and went on our way !
Easy return on a holiday.
Customer service at this location was amazing. The woman working at the time of pickup, was friendly, answered questions and was knowledgeable of the process. If I was to recommend this location it would not be because of the equipment, as the truck was not in the best condition.
This u haul location doesnâ€™t need to be in business. Terrible service! We waited almost 2 hours to pick up a dirty, unkept truck. They need to train their employees on how to use the computer system. I will never use I haul again!!!
The truck was not clean inside. We had to remove nails, screws and food debris before loading the truck.
The size vehicle i reserved online was unavailable at a local location so I was bumped to a further location. U-Haul kindly discounted the service for the inconvenience via phone message, thank you. The only problem I had with the whole "rental experience" was that the discount hadn't been pushed into the computer system to be billed properly. While a note was made to recognize the discount given, it took a while longer and near heroic effort by the young lady at checkout to call, void and reinput, thank you. I luckily wasn't pressed for time, miracle...
Truck had potato chips on the floor.

keep from giving the wrong information to the customer. cost me an extra 220 over what it should have by clerk telling one thing and than getting a call after I turned in the truck.
