There we’re definitely enough pads, but there were way too many pads. Half of a Ubox worth of pads. Everyone involved with my delivery at both locations were excellent. The problem I have with U-Haul is the hidden cost associated with shipping. I was never informed that I would have additional delivery cost union arrival of my Uboxes at my destination. That information was only given to me once I spoke with the agent on my destination end. Thankfully I was prepared for it, but it wasn’t planned in my budget. I spoke to several representatives prior to my delivery and it was never mentioned. By the end of this transaction I could have gone with a moving company for the price, which would have included movers to load and unload my household goods at a cheaper rate. Prior to my Uboxes being delivered I spoke with a representative at the tool free number and asked about the delivery fees. I was placed on hold for several minutes only to be told that my delivery would be schedule for the next day with a charge of $1000. That was Uhaul’s price. I went with Negal’s and the delivery cost me only $300. I’m not understanding the logic in that. I’ve moved numerous times over the past decade and this has been the most frustrating situation. The problem hasn’t been Negal’s or any of the other third parties I have dealt with. It’s U-Haul deceptive practices that have caused the issues.

I found 3 dead mice and tons of Mice S**t in one of my containers. After all of the money I spent getting these containers shipped and stored, I would of expected it to be stored in a better location. I had to throw away lots of things due to this. I will never be using your services again
Patrick MOur pod arrived three weeks late and damaged, but Uhaul has only refunded the $50 per day, still charging us for pod rental (during the time it was missing), as well as the $203 remaining of the transit charge. In my opinion, because our items arrived not only late, but damaged, we should not have to pay for any transit fees or for the pod rental during the weeks it was missing. We are very disappointed with our experience.
