The location was a little difficult to find the first time even with our GPS there were a few occasions we questioned whether the GPS knew where it was going. The staff were polite and efficient ( it was a very busy morning). Overall it was a positive experience.

Difficult to find entrance
The smell in the van was pretty bad.
Also, all equipment I had booked with my rental was not available.
The best part of the rental was the location as it is very convenient to me.
The service representative was fantastic. I rent Uhauls a fair bit, and this guy was the most thorough I've ever had. The van itself didn't handle parilticularly well and felt like the steering wheel was lose
I rent a 10' Truck for 6 hours but due to traffic I delever the truck with one hour delay. They wanted to fine me $200 ( $ 50 for every 15 Minutes)!!!. Finally the salesperson told me "I can fine you $50 but you will be flagged and I cannot apply for UHul for the rest I may life!!!"
The person working there was very helpful, but the place was not maintained and the truck was disgusting with urine like odour.

Make sure trucks are clean and not full of dirt. Fix the debit machine. multiple customers inquired about paying by debit...including myself.

Very efficient system. Staff on site and prepared to receive customers picking up their uHauls. Explanations of prices and terms well communicated. Staff very friendly and patient. A streetcar hit my mirror while I was in park at side of road, being the street car driver's fault, and also having paid the $15 coverage, there was no cost to me. If something does go wrong like this there is a very helpful hotline number. I would definitely recommend this U Haul.
Rented a u-haul van, the cargo area was still filled with dirt, pieces of rock, etc. I don't expect a super clean cargo area, but this one was clearly not cleaned when it returned from its previous run.
Everything was excellent since the very beginning that i book my car with customer service and all along the process to pick up and finally return the truck. i went through excellent and professional people, very kind and helpful. I strongly recommend U-Haul. Great job!!!! I could say five stars service
Booked one dolly and a dozen blankets together with the truck, when picking up the truck there were no dolly and blankets in the location.
The location appearance looks like a vacant lot with cars/trailers stored there. It was not a very customer friendly place to do business. Fortunately, the UHaul employee made up for it by being very professional and efficient.
Cab needs cleaning - seats were clean but the dashboard was very dirty.
Unlikely to use u haul again because a change of two hours to my booking turned a 'confirmed' booking to a 'not confirmed booking' one message not returned and took four phone calls to fix booking. Painful experience.
The overall experience was poor. It took a while to book, because I tried for hours to book on computer, and in the end the website couldn't complete the booking. I phoned. It took me a long time to get a guaranteed booking at the location. I had booked a 20' Truck, and got time and location moved outside of possibility. Then I got a conirmed booking at this location. It was fine and the truck was ok, but I had to wait in the office, dealying my pickup and there were no dollies available. I had to go to a different location and rent dollies from them. All of this delayed the move, and I lost over 1/2 hour which means that I still have things in the old unit to move. Condo moves run on tight schedules because we have to book elevators and labour for distinct times. There should always be enough dollies when booked, there should always be more than 1 staff to assist someone under tight timelines.
this rental was a nightmare. first it was to be for Tuesday night one way rental, the location is open until 7pm- the pic up is scheduled for 630. I am driving from Toronto to Barrie for the pick up. I am about to leave at 430 when I get a call saying they are closing at 5pm. I have already made arrangements and now have to change everything until the following day which is totally not convenient now. I then have to re-rent at the same location for a noon pic up. I call and say I will be late and arriving around 1-130. I arrive at 1245. there are other people waiting and the office is closed the other leave and I am forced to wait until 115 when finally someone arrives. Frederic is at least pleasant and apologetic but I was not impressed with my u haul experience over the past week. It is not only this location the whole situation has been terribly stressful.

The problem with this location is that they NEVER pick up the phone. I tried calling them multiple times since 9AM to all of their listed numbers and couldn't reach anyone. Even left a message on the voice mail but to no one returned. I needed to talk to them to let them know that I would be 1h late and it was really lucky for me that they still had something when I got in. The next customer that arrived after I did had the same problem but he wasn't so lucky. If they demand that you call to inform that you'll be late, the least they could do is pickup the damn phone.
The location is actually a junk yard at a dead end with minimal signage to find the place. The booking system was down when we got there so the attendant had to write down all my personal and license info. Closest washroom is the McDonald's across the street.
When someone makes a reservation for some equipment it is usually assumed that the person doing the booking obviously needs the equipment for the job they are about to do, I had to move apartments and had reserved online a van and a furniture dolly, when arriving to pick up the vehicle I was told, "yeah sorry all the dolleys are gone", I replied I had one reserved and booked to which I got a reply thick with attitude, saying they are first come basis. I was unaware that's how a reservation works in this country.....needless to say I had to make do without and the job took twice as long.
I hope you fix this as it made a simple job a lot more difficult and time consuming.
The final price was what was estimated, but there's a $1.25 charge that is not explained anywhere

This location is actually kind of frightening. It is an abandoned parking lot filled with potholes. I would not recommend this location to anyone as it does not feel safe.
It would be good if someone was there to do the rental contract at the time specified. We did it over the phone which was quick and painless but also felt a bit sketchy. It did however, all run really smoothly so thank you for that.
We were just a little concerned there was not too much light in the lot when returning the trailer after dark but other than that it was good with knowledgeable staff.

Thea area around the rental yard has quite a bit of litter on the ground.
The location was fine, but I originally rented from a different location. UHaul called me the morning of my move to tell me that the truck was no longer available at that location. I had to drive an extra 8 km to get the truck. I had great customer service along the way, but there should be a guarantee on location when you book the truck in the first place.

This was a very sketchy location. The truck was not very clean (e.g. nut shells were on the floor near the seatbelt so I didn't want to use the seatbelt in the middle). However the location functioned - I.e. it got the job done.
The U-Haul agent was well prepared, knowledgable and polite. The 20 ft truck was in perfect condition, clean inside the cab, but very dirty inside the truck.
Clean your trucks
Accurately measure the fuel level before asking customer to sign contract
Do a walk around of vehicle with customer to ensure everything is in order
Have a phone number at the location that has a voice mail set up or where someone actually picks up the phone
Actually give me address of where I am dropping off vehicle.
We were moving from Newmarket to Toronto with a 20 foot truck and originally picked this location for drop off. In the morning while we were loading the truck I got a phone call sending us to a different location (the one on Weston Road) and was told our drop off spot was written down and confirmed for that location which was no big deal. We finished our move and brought the truck back to the newer location and upon arrival were told that there was no room and sent us to a different location. This was annoying because we're not used to driving in Toronto, especially not with a big moving truck but we were okay with it. As we arrived at the second location we were sent to, which was not easy to get to at all, they also told us there was no room. At this point it was getting late in the day and we had been moving all day so we were tired and this was very annoying as well. They then told us to take it to the ORIGINAL location that we signed up for, which was even more difficult to drive to. After driving around trying to find this location (as well as driving from one uhaul to the other for a couple hours) we finally found the location. Once we arrived they also told us they didn't have enough room and tried to send us to one of the other two locations again which was absolutely ridiculous. Eventually they took the truck in after hours of us driving around, as well as putting extra gas in the cars. This was all very annoying but it was whatever. A few days later I got a bill in the mail charging us for extra gas as well as extra mileage which is complete bullshit because we put extra gas in the car in the first place and it was UHAULS fault that we were driving around extra and all over Toronto. I am completely appalled by the fact that they billed me extra for this and think that it is very unfair, especially since the lady at the final uhaul told us we had 'plenty of gas.' I truly hope I do not have to move again so I don't even have to think about dealing with uhaul ever again.
The van we rented was in such poor conditions that every time we hit a bump in the road I prayed the car wouldn't fall apart. I've never been so anxious in a moving vehicle in my life. Please do something about the suspensions to make for a smoother ride.
First and foremost one should be able to return equipment to a close location. I had one a few blocks from me and couldn't return there. Then someone from U-Haul changed my drop off location w/o my authorization to a further away location and it was a waste of my time on the phone to correct your mistake. They lied leaving message saying it was closer to me. Second the location I returned is a real dump. And the attendant (wearing shades) did not cared, was not helpful and wasn't friendly. He basically sat and didn't looked at me.

This was the second time I've picked up a rental from Empire Car Rental - great service, very friendly & knowledgeable. The rep was able to make a quick change to a smaller truck which was great. Would recommend to friends/family.
The voice mail didnt work and they would not answer the phone. i booked for 10 days but reservation was adjusted to 3 and "just call in to extend if you need it"..but could not get through. Luckily through the 800 number they were able to help continue reservation until the 10th day.
All was quick and smooth and friendly!
The only improvement I would like to see is a better lit location.
Nothing to improve - the services was fast, helpful, and met all our needs.
Truck was not in a good shape mechanically. The steering wheel shacked a lot during braking and highway speed.

Van was dirty and musty. Smelled heavily of cigarettes. Fine when you're hauling lumber, but when you are moving an apartment it's not what you want.
This pick up location is convenient to pick things up from, but is pretty sketchy, especially to leave cars on the street. Staff is friendly and efficient enough.

The brakes on the 17' truck were pretty bad. Makes for a frightening drive with an empty truck, let alone a full one.
