I'm not sure why we were charged for a fuel surcharge. This wasn't mentioned when we rented the truck. And not sure why you would have a fuel surcharge when we purchased the fuel. We spent $15 on gas and drove 10 miles, so we paid for the gas that was used and the fuel gauge was where it was when we picked up the truck.

Smooth process despite being a mobile pick up at 5:30 AM on a snowy morning. They missed the dolly and furniture mats that I had ordered, but I was able to manage without it and also wasn’t charged for it. Overall, great vehicle and easy process. Would definitely recommend!

Van was dirty I spoke on the phone before booking the person said yes I can park my van and take the truck but when I arrived they told me no I can not park my van in the usual lot I had to drive my van to another parking and also she didn’t give me no paper to keep it in my van incase of emergency so the customer service was very poor

The U-Haul located in the Junction, was great! Very easy to drop off, the attendant helped with everything! Empire Car Rental 87 Ethel Ave Toronto ON M6N4Z7 U-Haul itself as a company changed my reservation the day before pick up 3 times. We ordered our truck 4 weeks in advance of our move. The morning before, they emailed to say they downsized our truck. Then throughout the day, they changed it from a 10ft to 27ft truck. The system is horrible, no one who works can properly help, and they push you to someone else. I spend over 7 hours on and off the phone all day to make sure we have a truck for pickup. Its honestly a miracle that at 8pm the evening before our 7 am pick up 1 person was finally nice enough to stay on the phone and help us get a truck.

let us know there’s a forty fucking dollar rental charge. i was unaware of this, it was not mentioned to me, nor was it in the website when booking, nor did i see it in any email from u-haul. this sucks!

Charged unknown extra fees. Didn't go for 16$ safety plan, you guys charged it.on top of it I was charged 27$ extra, don't know why. Will never use UHaul service again.very disappointed.

On Feb 2, 2024 I rented a truck from this location. Upon returning the truck, I notice that my personal car that I parked in their lot has a damage. Someone hit my car obviously. So I reported to them and they know what happen. Everything was caught by their surveillance camera. They gave all the information needed to file a claim and contact numbers. I contacted my insurance company to deal with this incident and they were handle it right away. But until now, Feb 27, 2024, my insurance company unable to get a hold of Uhaul insurance nor their regional manager. Looks like to me they are hiding from their responsibility. Very disappointed to Uhaul, since I had been renting their truck so many times. Twice a year at least.

Good selection. Yard is a muddy lake. U-Haul app doesn't work at this location as geolocation always says you are at wrong location. Even national office when I phoned said multiple people have that problem, NEED TO FIX. Have to used website for checkout.

Back of the truck have some mud foot steps, also the heater didn't work already halfway to pickup the stuff so did the job with freezing

I was thankful that I got a pull trailer but I had a very busy day and night as I was working all day on one job then I had another job through the night. The young lady working there was super nice and helpful she made sure all the lights were working in the hook up was done proper but I didn't even look at the license plate. Anyway I was driving with the trailer and I got pulled over by the police as they were driving behind me and noticed the licence plate on the uhall was very rusty and not legible. Thankfully I had the email receipt from the U-Haul and after about 20 minutes they let me go with just a warning. What a waste of time this was.

TO WHOM THIS MAY CONCERN: Please be advised that “Fred Zein”, who is the owner of the business in question and who I am having this issue with, is a THIEF. TO DATE: He owes me $77.16 on a refundable deposit that he held unjustly, and for monies that i sent to his personal email- fred.zein@gmail.com for an overpayment made via eTransfer — WHICH IS COMINGLING OF FUNDS. The issue with this claim is that the merchant was supposed to refund the $60 hold on this account plus $17.16, because he was overpaid the full amount of this transaction in an eTransfer that he requested to be sent to his account. Upon realization i was not refunded the overpayment, as he promised, I called him and requested that he refund it, to which he stated that he was doing it the same day. The following week, I reviewed my account and saw that there was no refund from him nor a copy of my final bill. I REPEAT THAT TOMTHIS DAY THERE IS NO RECORD OF ANY SUCH PAYMENT BEING MADE TO MY ACCOUNT. I HAVE PROOF OF THIS PAYMENT MADE TO HIS PERSONAL EMAIL VIA ETRANSFER AND ALSO EMAILS SENT TO FOLLOW UP AND DEMAND REPAYMENT. I AM NOW GOING TO ACCELERATE MY CLAIM AND SEEK OTHER METHODS OF RETRIEVING WHAT IS OWED, especially after reading that he is a habitual thief, doing the same thing with others on this feed. READ OTHER COMMENTS BELOW. RENTER BEWARE OF THIS THIEF. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. IF YOU DO, you will certainly join those of us he has stolen from. I will make sure he and his wrongdoing is exposed and that CRA is also the wiser as to his covert malicious activities and tax evasion. I repeat, BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! Thank you.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the equiptment. Sarah and Freddy are amazing representatives, friendly, courteous, professionals. I have rented from other u haul locations, as a matter of fact there is one closer to me, but I come to this location cause they are the best, and it’s easier to navigate. I highly recommend.

Gentleman in the office was super nice and extremely helpful. The truck i was supposed to rent was going in for an oil change. He swapped my truck very quickly. The truck i took had a tire light but i reported it and he assured me it would be dealt with as soon as it was returned.

The location is not easy to find, and the truck wasn't clean, I´m trying to get my real invoice and they never answer the phones. I asked the representative if I could get my invoice at that moment and he said no because he would do it when he has time. I haven't received my invoice and only I have the estimate.

I was wrongfully charged for 7liters of fuel despite and distance was not even 4 km long. Even with that, the bank charge exceeds the charge on the receipt. I used the car for nearly 3 hours, returned the fuel as it was and yet was robbed. 👎👎👎👎 never gonna use this company again.
